Both are pretty poor images
They're both pretty lousy, but the 2nd one is actually semi-illustrative, so I'm switching them back until we decide whether the Wonderella pic is worth using. The Justice League image doesn't really illustrate it, as there's no indication that they're enemies.
Reaction Image RepositoryWonderella pic is better in the sense that it's not JAFAAC, but it's just a bunch of text that might as well be a quote.
I don't like the bottom image - I don't see what the visuals add there.
The top image lacks in the "Enemy" department. If someone can find a form where the enemy looks more enemy-ish, I think it could work perfectly.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWe should definitely switch it back. Here's the old thread.
^This already happened, but again: The visuals in the Wonderella pic don't add anything.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThat's a good point, but I dunno how you could pic this and not have some kind of dialogue going on between the rivals.
My thought here was that the facial expressions of the people in the Justice League pic do say that they are friends, but that the person in red doesn't look like an enemy.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think it's almost never true that the visual component of an image adds literally nothing. Not very much, certainly, but it does add some context (judging by the costumes, superhero/villain talking) and a friendly gesture (second frame). It's not awful.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Agreed. In the current pic the facial expressions carry a lot of mood, costume differences notwithstanding.

Clock is set. I'm good with the Wonderella pic barring someone suggesting something better.
From me, +1 for Wonderella.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Well, you could have something that's less about enemies and more about opponents, like sports: [1]◊ or [2]◊. Those pictures may be less striking, but they speak for themselves.
I didn't find a good pic of a series I wanted, say, Ryoko or Kim/Shego

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Clock's up, and the consensus is to keep the Wonderella pic. Tagging the page to reflect this thread, and locking up.
...didn't we already do this? I distinctly remember the Justice League picture being swapped for the The Non Adventures Of Wonderella pic, but a few weeks ago Progo35 switched it back. Unless my sister slipped something into my slurpee again and I'm just hallucinating, these should be switched back immediately.
Top is the current one, bottom the one chosen in IP:
