[up] I gave you a hat.

I was going to post to say I could start a YKTTW for Boredom Gestures, but while thinking about how I could possibly try to describe that it occurred to me that there would be a lot of overlap between it and Thinking Tic - finger drumming and pen twirling, particularly, are used for both, and for much the same reason: they're signs that the character's mind is either presently on other things (Thinking Tic) or that they really wish that it were (Boredom Gestures). So... I'm not sure if I should follow through now. Suggestions?

Thinking Tic crosswicked. What other variants are there?

Are we planning on disambiguating Finger Twiddling between Shy Finger Twiddling and Thinking Tic, so that we can get rid of the "incoming trope" page?

If we really can't think of any other tropes, we may as well just redirect Finger Twiddling to Shy Finger Twiddling. I don't think there's a high chance of confusion with Thinking Tic.

Zzzzzzzzzz
Personally, I'd say there's no harm in making it a disambig, rather than a redirect to only one of them.

And there may be a third trope we missed: Boredom Tic. This would include finger-drumming, pen- or pencil-drumming and having the fingers interlaced and the the thumbs circling around each other.

Disambiguate. If someone wants to YKTTW Boredom Tic, they can go ahead.

[up][up] I mentioned on the YKTTW for Thinking Tic that it and Boredom Tic might actually be the same Absent Minded Tic trope - things a character does when their mind is elsewhere.

Vote up names you like, vote down names you don't. Whether or not the title will actually be changed is determined with a different kind of crowner (the Single Proposition crowner). This one just collects and ranks alternative titles.
At issue:
Previous crowner decided to Trope Transplant Finger Twiddling. This crowner picks the new name for the current trope.
