Need? No. Does it hurt? Not really. The only reason to remove it I can see is if we're supposed to be politically neutral, and this isn't. Otherwise, it's really not different from a Useful Notes or Trivia page.

I don't know, I wish we had stricter rules on Useful Notes pages, rather than anyone having the right to add notes about anything, no matter how vague or pointless or unrelated to tropes.
I feel Useful Notes are supposed to supplement your knowledge of tropes in general. A page about a time period might help you understand tropes about that time period, for instance. A trope about a children's video game charity won't.

I appreciate the quiz show and wick check Stratadrake, but that's not really necessary for this kind of page; it's not a trope page with naming issues. Just tell us that there's multiple works with this name and it's questionable if charities get works pages. No big deal, just be more concise when it's open-and-shut like this.
What we could do is dump a brief description and change the references to it on Penny Arcade so we have something to link to when it's referenced. Otherwise, there's no reason for the page; it should either be a disambiguation or link right to Child's Play.

Given what the links refer to, I'd just make it a redirect to the film and add the line "Not To Be Confused With the charity founded by the creators of Penny Arcade" (and maybe some snide remark about the juxtaposition of the two?).

Okay, I've taken these steps to start:
- Temped Main.Childs Play under Sandbox.Childs Play until we decide on its final name.
- De-listed it from the Video Game Culture index, with a link to this thread.
- Wrote a short disambig page for Main.Childs Play.
- Created an AT crowner.

It doesn't look like there's much interest, but I'd hate to lock this when it's such short work. All we need to do is decide what the article about the charity should be named.
