Magic Academy RP

Sammy rummaged through her bag for her emergency box of tissues. "Here," she said gently, passing one to Gretchen, "You need it more than I do."

Gretchen accepts the tissues, and wipes her face, "Th-thanks..." she says, blushing slightly.

Nate glanced at the crying girl again. She was already being attended to by another girl and seemed to be calming down. "Well, it was just an accident I guess."

Students were lingering around, looking like they didn't know where to go. Where was the guide for the newbies? "You guys new? Head for the tower, there should be a teach there to assign you your rooms." He addressed the kid in front of him, but said it loud enough for the others to hear.

"Ah, the tower. Thanks."

Kaleb headed for the tower, or at the very least he headed for the tallest building on campus.

Taurin stood outside the large tower, somewhat hesitant. He knew what was meant to happen with the rooms, but he was in no rush, and still a little uncertain of the procedure. He stood there for a few moments before directing his bull-summon to resume following him and walking inside the tower.

"Ah, good to know...", Marcus thought. He then headed to the tower.

Sammy looked at Gretchen. Although she appeared older, she was more definitely more shy. "Shall we go up to the Tower together?" she asked, trying hard to sound reassuring but also not intimidating.

Gretchen nods, "S-sure..."

She's so shy and withdrawn, this Gretchen. I wonder why...

I see how we're going to play it. Brendan flashed the boy his most polite smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Reitt offered a hand, "Likewise. So, am I right to assume you would be joining my club together with Alexander?"

"If Alexander is up for it," he replied, shaking the boy's hand a bit too firmly. "Then what other choice do I have?"

"Yes!"

Alexander clapped his hand excitedly:

"I already made two friends in my first day here! This is going to be great!"

Nate waved at the first years as they walked over to the tower. The toad in his hands took the oppurtunity to try and escape, which he only barely avoided. "Oh no you don't!"

He supposed he'd better head for the tower again too; it was more likely that the kid who'd summon the toad would still be in there. If not he could just find a teacher to deal with it instead. He went back over to where Zavi and Elsinare were still hanging out to pick up his backpack first. "Hi again."

Sammy walked out of the auditorium and looked at the mass of students, some old and some new. One of them should know where the Tower is, surely...

"So where should we go now? I have a lot of bags to unpack."

For the first time, the two noticed that Alexander was carrying at least two heavy-looking bags.

"Oh, you caught it. Good job." She looked at the creature carefully, even though she wasn't the best informed when it came to toads and failed demonic summons. Finally, she glanced up and saw that only a few students were still practising their spells. "It looks like everyone's heading over to the tower."

I wonder what the room mate situation is this year.

Gretchen nervously follows Sammy, barely paying attention to where she was going past staying behind Sammy.

"Thanks. He wasn't really happy about coming along." Somehow Nate was able to hold onto the summon with one hand while slipping his bag on with the other. "I'm about to head over to the tower myself, this guy's summoner might be in there. I want to find out who my roomie is too."

"Over to the dorms, I guess."

Reitt did not show any discomfort. He had to wonder what he would be learning in his first day of school the next day.

"Yeah, sounds like a plan." Zavi looked at the summon. "Hmm, I'd try transforming him into something else, but I don't know much about summons. So I'll do this."

He ripped up some grass and dropped it on the toad. While it was falling he whipped his paint-brush around. As the grass fell it transformed into some bandages that almost mummified the demonic toad.

"There, that should make life a little easier."

"Woah, that's so cool!" Holding it up to eye level Nate could see the bandages had wrapped tightly, but not painfully, around the toad. "Now that is a spell I'd like to learn." If he was going to try and learn some healing spells it'd probably be useful to know too. He made a mental note to look into the school's transformation class.

Eventually he turned his attention back to the tower. "You two want to come with?"

Gently, Brendan reached over and grabbed one of the bags. "Let me help you," he insisted. "I'll get you to your room."

"Ah, no need, Mr. Brendan, I got this. You did a lot for me already- I should be helping you with your bags."

"Since we are all going to be in a club together, why don't we distribute the weight around, so all three of us carry the same amount?"

Reitt supposed that was only fair.
