Boy, did you see the Reward Challenge last night? That was the first time ever that they had a tribe forfeit the challenge and strike a bargain. Then again, they had to, because they got deadlocked in the first round of three for 1 hour!

The red tribe lost and voted Katie out, and now they are down to four. However, food is becoming a pressing issue on both sides, and the yellow tribe has 7 mouths to feed, which is clearly too many! I wonder what the big twist in the next episode is going to be?

Merge, perhaps?

That's my thought. Dwindling food and all.

I was up early enough to get a report from my local station that...Carter Williams, a contestant around here, was interviewed by phone. (First time for phone interview) The reporter noted that he may have serious health concerns from being on the show and that mostly seems to happen to contestants that made it late into the game. They also noted how skinny he is and wondered if the trade of food made an impact on that.

That was a particularly satisfying episode.

Though I'd say I at least partially agree with him on one bit, the part about how much of the actual prize money any of the winners will actually be allowed to keep. I just never thought about exactly how much is left over.

On an amusing side note, I was thinking about how it's surprising how much damage a dead man walking can do, except then then I remembered on word: Zombies.

Two more words: The Undertaker.

I think it's safe to say that he wasn't going to vote for Penner regardless of what happened. Putting aside the fact that he didn't want Penner to win anyhow. So assuming Penner goes all the way, I think it's safe to say he really hasn't lost anything at this point.

I'm thinking of Lisa. The spilit between "good gameplay" and "loyalty" arguement will be tricky.

Either way, the viewers benefit! Still rooting for Malcom and/or Denise.

I'm still rooting for Skupin myself. That may just be the long-time survivor nostalgia in me talking, though.

But yeah, this season has been a BIG step up from the past few seasons, and last nights episode is probably the best episode we've had this season yet. This is some fun stuff they're showing.

Penner: I'm rooting for Malcolm and Denise because of Blue tribe troubles. Because Survivor made me care so much for the Tanalonged tribe, I'm rooting for them. I DO NOT CARE FOR LISA AT ALL!

Well, they voted for Artis so they are playing along...FOR NOW.

What just happened tonight? I expected Penner gone for sure.

Tangdang Trio done messed up, that's what happened. Lisa may be feeling conflicted, but it appears that Skupin recognized that sticking solidly with those three wasn't in their best interests. After all, what would you expect when those three treated Skupin and Lisa like trash while trying to get them to work with them?

What it means further on, who can say? At this point we effectively have four 2-person alliances, so things could really get crazy from here on out.

Which makes for a lot of fun potential.

On a side note, poor Skupin. Even when he's not doing anything he still manages to get injured.

I have to say that I'm feeling pity for Abi. Is it Values Dissonance with her, is she like a Jerkass, or is it just a case of Innocently Insensitive?

I mean, she says that English is not her first language and that she doesn't understand the social cues. But she keeps interrupting and refuses to let people finish their sentences. I don't know about you, but it's rude to not even let people finish their sentences.

Yeah. She might be out next time as Malcolm still has his idol.

Probably a little of column A and a little of column B. In either case, I'm not feeling sorry for her and will be happy to see her go.

Yep. But hey, Denise is still around! I have a good feeling this will bite Skupin and Lisa though because...there really is no way they can win unless they are against Abi-Marie. And no one wants to be with her anymore so...

btw, do u think abi's knots were rigged to be easier? i think so.

It would be easy to get suspicious about the it, but I'm more inclined to think that she won on account of being rested up and possibly due to having smaller fingers which would let her get in between the knots easier.

Yes, it's possible they rigged it, but I'm more inclined to think she won fair and square. Even if I was rooting for Abi to loose and go home.

Though I'd dare say she's trying way too hard to try to convince people that she has another hidden immunity.

So when Penner wins an immunity, it's AWESOME but when Abi wins immunity, it's rigged? Shows how much we all dislike her then.

On the bright side, at least we can all safely assume she's not going to win the game.

Unless we have evidence that something was rigged, I choose to believe what's been given. It's just easier that way. Besides, as has been said, Abi didn't have to compete in either of the first two legs of that challenge - she had a definite advantage going in and that likely really helped.

Malcom summed up all of our feeling on Abi before Tribal. She's really obxinous and even though she maybe a stratgic move, NO ONE LIKES HER AT ALL!

Also Denise summed up finale, a balence between Social, Physical and stratigic.

N-no! CARTER! -sigh- Ah well. Abi won't make it next time. Unless she wins immunity. Of which I say, MALCOM MAKE SURE DENISE GET THROUGH!
