?!
YES. Now to sit and pray for The Brutal Ballad of Fangus Klot to get made...Or a different new game. EITHER WAY IS FINE WITH ME. A cat Russian mafia sounds so awesome though...
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahWell, if they get Stranger's Wrath on, expect Munch's Oddysee after.
Jonah FalconOddworld..
Oh yeah, the first two games I liked them :)
yeah thats right, I am from the ones than prefer the first two games xD
"That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death itself may die."I enjoy Abe's Exoddus and Stranger's Wrath the most.
I put on my robe and tinfoil hat...I got Stranger's Wrath on PS 3. It's good stuff. Maybe I'll get it and the rest of the Oddworld stuff on PC later on.
They're all pretty fun. I liked the world that hey created, though Stranger's Wrath didn't exactly mesh very well. I just wish they could have made more games like they planned to initially.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireThe first two games are great. The later ones, not so much. It doesn't help that the PC ports of the latter two games are porting disasters.
I wished they released a retail version of HD Stranger's Wrath. Can't buy on PSN...

Considering Stranger's Wrath was separated into its own page to avoid clutter, I decided to do the same for Oddworld: Soulstorm.
So apparently Soulstorm (great name btw) is being made as a reimagining of Abe's Exoddus as it was originally envisioned.
Will this mean we're going to have to ignore Abe's Exoddus as being canon?
I'd treat it as being more like one of the various retellings of Batman's (or any other superhero's) origin story. There's no one true canon, and what things are canon and when depends on what sequel you're looking at and whether it mentions it or not.
Soulstorm? Will Oddworld be caught up in the Kaurava System?

That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.In the context of Oddworld, Soulstorm refers to an energy drink made by the series' Big Bad species, the Glukkons. It's highly addictive, but it's made out of really bad stuff. Namely, Mudokon (Abe's species') bones and tears.

Soulstorm remake for Playstation 5.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Play it first on PS4 and PS5! (Which is funny because the original Oddworld games were limited to PlayStation until they came to PC.)
Whew, if that's not an effective way to say "for the love of God, don't get the Mudokons killed," then I don't know what is.
And holy crap, Abe getting rid of his mouth stitches? Better late than never, but I can't imagine that it'll be a pleasant feeling.
I’ve just learned with joy that Stranger’s Wrath was available on PC but I also see that it’s listed as a Porting Disaster on the work page… is it worth it?
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.I don't have it, though the entry does say that the later patches fixed a lot of the issues with optimization, and here's a guide for X Box controller setup if you need it: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=335123478
A’ight… I think I’ll give it a go in a few weeks (it’s only 10 bucks anyway). I might try Munch’s Oddysee while I’m at it.
Regarding Soulstorm… I’m surprised they’re gonna stick with the 2.5D gameplay of the original (or of New n’ Tasty, rather). Not that I’m complaining, but I thought they’d have found a way to make it a bit more open.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Oddworld: Soulstorm has been out since April 6th, and someone found a pretty cool but weird Easter egg! The title says it all!
Moving the right stick around in the main menu makes Abe's eyes move around.
If you're wishing they'd bring Stranger's Wrath to XBLA, it may be coming.
Something tells me sales on PSN stunk (which would be usual for the series. Great games, no one buys them.)
