Interest, though I'd like to know more details before signing up...
Such as?
...Well, your OP is just kind of lacking on detail... I mean, it took me a couple of reads to realize that we were supposed to play ourselves, or, at least, a character based off of ourselves, I'm still not sure what the powers we can have, nor how we got them, nor how closely based off of ourselves the characters should be... In short, the OP is kind of unclear, and doesn't tell me enough to do a sign-up.
Ah... That's what happens when I try not to spoil the story... Alright. Edited. Hopefully it will explain more. Forgot to add one tiny detail that may or may not happen.

Hmm... *starts plotting*
"Yup. That tasted purple."Much better! Now to think up my power...

Resisting the urge to say "Guns" or "The Subtle Knife".
What should I pick....
I'd probably go with The Subtle Knife since it's more world-specific than a gun.
...
Multiversal travel would possibly be OP.
Though considering how Multiversal Travel is part of the premise for this RPG, not all that OP.

*goes looking for a Magical Girl series to crib and starts polishing the 63!stick*
"Yup. That tasted purple.""Cut through anything" would also be OP.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Ah. Yes. That would be a bit OP. If you can try and limit that, it might be okay...

I doubt it's going to be the only Absurdly Sharp Blade we have to deal with.
"Yup. That tasted purple.""Cut through anything" is OP? Since when? I mean, unless by "anything" you mean "including metaphysical concepts"... And even then bringing her into this would be, um, yeah. >.>
...Interested, by the way. Just need to figure out what to do, ahah~
As this game progressed would people be able to discover other artifacts from these ships?
It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble. As in "Cut through the walls of the universe". Cutting Metaphysical concepts is not out of bounds.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Yes, and maybe a form of world-jumping tech or power if we go for the "World jumping" thing, just so that they can catch up.
Hmm... Would we know that we're all tropers in the RP, and, if so, would we know each other by our handles in the same way as we do in the fora?
Also, would time stop be OP?

OK, so now that we've settled that the blade that can cut through reality is overpowered, what now?
"Yup. That tasted purple."Yes. In fact, let me edit that to make it more clearer.
Great. Now, explain why my mind is saying "Green Lantern Ring".
To be blunt, it would fit my mindset.
Less overpowered, but still possibly.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Hmm...
Now my mind says "Omnitrix" or "Ultamatrix". God, I'm indecisive.
Hello, this is an interest check/sign up for Journey Through The Multiverse. This is based off an RPG called HJU: Together We'll Be Stronger. The concept for the story is that we play self inserts who gain powers from different works. And then going to the worlds of those different works ala Kingdom Hearts.
Plot
In many worlds, there is a form of power that people use. Throughout these worlds, they have been given different names: Chakra, Mana, Magic, Energy, etc. In other worlds, they are more technically advanced and provide tools and weapons that can turn the tide of battle. Rarely would these two things exist in the same world. Though there are some worlds that lack the powerful energy or the technological advancements. Our world is one of those worlds. We live in the world, unaware of the existence of the other worlds, though we still read their stories through books, movies, shows, and games, and discuss them through forums. One of them being called TV Tropes. This will follow the stories of those on that site, as the illusion will fade and world will soon be wrapped in a multiversal war...For there are two factions, both gathering tech and powers for their own purposes. One faction, Dai-Shocker, gathers mechas and high-tech weapons from other worlds in hopes to rule the multiverse with an iron fist. The other, The Red Pirates, explore the deep meaning of "The Power" and try to unlock its true potential. Eventually, the pirates have found a way to give "The Power" to worlds that lack it, by giving people a shred of its energy from another world via a crystallized shard of a person's spiritual energy, and thus giving them powers from that world where the person came from. However, the two saw each other as a threat and began to fight each other. A massive war ensued, costing thousands of lives. The final battle took place over Earth, where of the factions' space ships exchanged devastating blows that destroyed them, and caused the the tech and power shards to fall onto Earth, into the hands of unsuspecting people.
And as the two groups begin to look for their spilled goods, the question will be what will be of the Earth?
Sign Up Sheet
I'll use the character I made for the RPG this is based off for an example. There's no guarantee that I will use this guy for my RPG, however.
Cast
Those who are struck-through are dead. The Imperium
When Viktor discovered the Ha'tak, he was joined by several other people, and soon, the Ha'tak took off, with the group forming their own faction: The Imperium.Pretty much the heroes of the story, and the main focus. They travel around, trying to stop Dai-Shocker from ruling the multiverse and all that.
Dai-Gurren Brigade
Under the watchful eye of the Guardian Of The Multiverse, the Dai-Gurren Brigade travels through out the world, displaying and collecting the Power, known long ago as Spiral Energy, for a dark purpose that only a few people managed to figure out. These guys are... weird. They're evil, but they have good guys in them. Recruitment for these guys is also tricky. Gai uses the Spiral Energy to evolve animals into humans, so the idea is that your character is to be based off an animal character that had turned human via Spiral Power.
Dai-Shocker
Tsukasa's vast army of mooks that he had gathered from various worlds, along with technology that can make a primitive ape gaze in awe. With this, he uses it to conquer many worlds and hopefully rule the Multiverse with an iron fist. The villains of the story. Basically if you want your character to be evil, this is the faction to go to.
Adam Eberhart (The Hulk's rage powers)- GeekCodeRedPantheon Of The Demented
And finally, these people. The people who go around the multiverse and destroying everything for their amusement. The requirement for this club is that your character has to be unstable and insane. You know. Demented.
The Red Pirates
On a search for the source of the power, these youths went on a journey through the multiverse. They faced the Multiversal Empire Dai-Shocker and took the title of 'pirates'.Want to play an anti-hero? Here's where you go.
Monkey D. Luffy- Psyga315Portgas D. Ace- Psyga315Roy Mustang- Psyga315Checkmate Four
