Add "and sometimes for the masculine physiques they acquired in the process of developing their asskicking abilities" to the new definition.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Still too much like Amazonian Beauty.
And that trope is being held over a fire as we speak.
Again agreed. Adding physical attributes will change the trope's focus from fighting skills to appreance. The action girl in question could be a lean pressure point fighter or a stocky summo wrestler. The girl would look completely different yet the 'action girl' quality is the same in both.
That's what the "and sometimes" part is for. It's not mandatory, but it happens often enough to be noted.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I suppose.
I still don't like it. If they're like for their muscles in addition then it belongs on Amazonian beauty. You can put that note at the end of the definition where Amazonian Beauty is mentioned.
I'm not entirely sure if the current name change was such a great idea. For one, I'm not sure if it refers to the girl who's considered to be attractive for being tough or the men that are attracted to the girl because of her being tough. Was the change to make it opposite to All A Mazons Want Hercules? It's pretty confusing.

Amazon Chaser - a man who is attracted to an amazon, derived from skirt chaser. I'm not sure what's unclear.
It was made the opposite of No Guy Wants an Amazon, because people were constantly (80% misuse!) using it to mean "action girl I find hot" and ignoring the in-universe requirement. By making it refer to the male character, we've made it more clear that the in-universe requirement is required.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.And for the record, a homosexual female can qualify for Amazon Chaser; as far as we can see in both fiction and real-life, however, an Amazon Chaser is usually male, so a female Amazon Chaser would be thus be a case of partially Gender-Inverted Trope.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.True, my bad.
The trope refers to anyone who finds an action girl/amazon physically attractive, regardless of gender.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Good rename.
Is this thread done then?
There's still a crap ton of clean that needs to be done with Hot Amazon
I've got the wicks down from ~1200 to ~800, but it's slow going.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Do I dare suggest turning over the wick-fixing to Special Efforts?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. We could add it to the new dedicated thread for that, sure. I didn't because I didn't want it to seem like I only opened the thread to help out with my own repairs.

Crown Description:
The issue at hand is how best to handle the trope Hot Amazon.- The trope has 1116 wicks and 1837 inbounds.
- A wick check shows 81% misuse, mostly for "Action Girl the editor found hot"
- The trope was previously split into Hot Amazon and Amazonian Beauty. Whether the wicks were cleaned afterward is unknown.
Agreed. We need to keep this trope as 'attracted to action girls for their ass kicking abilities'. 'masculine qualities' sounds too vague and also too close to Amazonian Beauty.
