Also watermark.
Is it? I thought it was a copyright mark. Either way, I vote to pull.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI vote to Keep Until Better Image Suggested, myself. It's blurry and has a Cartoon Network bug, but it demonstrates the trope effectively (and literally). Not to mention we're already in a bit of hot water for pulling too many images, so I'd rather save that for when the image blatantly doesn't depict the trope in question (although it's not really my place to make that call).

Moon◊Seems fair, so here's a couple of suggestions:
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer
Post 3: I know what I mean.
I like the Kronk one.
It doesn't have to be squirrels, right? I think it would be more illustrative if the picture didn't involve a squirrel, then, so that it's more clear that it can apply to other animals.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Right now the Kronk pic is my favorite, although I wouldn't mind to see another option or two.
Vote for the better quality Powerpuff Girl picture.
Vote for Kronk pic. It's more obvious that he's talking to the squirrel and not just looking at it.
I'm okay with either, but if we go with Kronk, we're going to have to fix the aspect ratio. It's clearly too tall as-is, making everything look weird.
Moon◊Those both link to the animated gif.
Reaction Image RepositoryThanks for catching that...won't be able to correct it until tonight. GIS "Kronk squirrel" and the first pic should be one of the first that comes up...GIS doesn't work very well here or I'd do it myself.
When the Kronk pic is static, it doesn't look that different from the PPG picture. A guy holding a squirrel doesn't really mean he's talking to it.
The subtitle should cover that, I'd think, especially in the GIF near the end where the squirrel is visibly trying to communicate with him.
There's also this, but I like the Kronk picture better.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer
I think the turtle is better for not being such a literal interpretation of the title.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. The only problem is that it isn't really evident that she can actually communicate with it. It just looks like a person talking to her pet. There needs to be some indication that she understands it. The Kronk pic shows that a lot better.
Reaction Image RepositoryNot denying that at all, but not seeing it: How?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. In the Kronk pic, the subtitle shows that he's actually speaking squirrel language, which implies that there's an actual conversation going on. The other pic just shows her talking to a turtle with no indication that it's talking back, or that she understands it. Between that pic and the title, the trope could be misinterpreted as "person who talks to animals because they're crazy" rather than "person who knows how to communicate with animals".
Reaction Image RepositoryI think a picture of someone saying "moo moo moo" to a cow says crazy person just as much as it says talks to cows. They are equally good/bad in that respect.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Soooo...can we call for a crowner at this point?
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerAren't there only two options?
I think this trope is two things: "human says stuff to non-human animal" and "non-human animal understands stuff human says". Not that the image must show both (although, hey, that'd be nice), but the suggestions so far only show the first.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
Crown Description:
Talks To Squirrels
Talks to Squirrels
The picture demonstrates the trope but it is quite blurry. I believe we need somewhat better quality.
