Sandbox looks good, but what if we paired it with another pic to get some context? For example, one person questioned the deductions process which is made clear by these two pics in sequence. 1 2, and here are two more from the same scene for context 3 4

That is the same ring, right? But the inner surface of any ring is shinier than the outside. One, This Wiki doesn't need to show its readers what a polished gold band looks like, to compare to a dirty one. Two, I think multiple-frame images should be avoided at all costs only be used when necessary.

I like the ring pic. By itself.

[up][up] Well, in the context of the episode, he concluded that it was so shiny on the inside from being taken on and off a lot (hence serial adulter) and yet still showed enough wear that she must be married. And I just thought multi frame could help here. I wish I had a better way to sift through screen caps. I want to say there are other scenes which use the on-screen clues to better effect (they are the show's signature gimmick).

Any more thoughts? I think the sandbox looks great and everyone seems pretty ok with it.

I approve of the single image, but confess I have no Idea what a sandbox is in this context. If someone would care to explain...?

[up] It's a draft version of a page made in the Sandbox namespace.

In wiki terms a Sandbox is a place to test editing and generally do whatever because it is wiped clean periodically. In this thread the "article Sandbox" has been referred to a few times. There is also a forum Sandbox.

Sandbox versions of a page might be used in IP to show what an article would look like with a particular image on it, and in this case also to demonstrate a somewhat-complex caption suggestion: Sandbox.Sherlock Scan
