Oh my, this looks wonderful. I'll be keeping an eye on this.
This is relevant to my interests.
This may well be relevant to my interests as well.
This is like a glorified 3D Dot Heroes.
Relevant to me as well.
This is not relevant to me but I love Voxels, just like Voxeltron, so I will scrutinize it very much to tend to the qualities.
Troper PageIts sad how everything cube shaped is now attributed to Minecraft.
I will have to follow this, definitely.
Infinite Tree: an experimental story@Spooky: It's just because it was the trendsetter.
Back in the early days of gaming, anything first person that had a gun was attributed to Quake.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Most people who make cube-based games nowadays are influenced by Minecraft, though. Just like in this case. So, it's hardly unjustified.
Strangely enough, it seems that 3D Dot Game Heroes is not an influence on Cube World (at least, it's not mentioned), even though it reminds me a lot of it.
Anyway, it seems pretty interesting so far. But I fear that it will only be available on Steam but most indie games nowadays.

People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.Anyways, this game certainly appears to be relative to my interests. Voxels have an inexplicable appeal to me.
Well, I wasn't around during that time, but stuff on this wiki always refers to "Quake clones," but whatevs.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Back in my day, we called them Wolfenstein 3D clones. Which itself is a dumbed-down Ultima Underworld!
@spooky mask: Well, the dev listed that as one of his inspirations on the faq,so I put in the title.
I'm gonna keep an eye on this.
Here's a good blog post about the combat system the dev just added in.

Bump now that this thing is out. I managed to get my hands on it despite the store being frequently DDO Sed for whatever inane reason.
It's a fun little title and remarkably engaging despite the simple mechanics.

I want to get it, but I am low on funds right now. It's on the top of my list, though.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenExtremely addictive, despite being only in the public alpha. I'm looking forward to whatever additions will come in the future.
I found a blank page for the game and added a bit to it.

Huh so it is out. Was wondering when that would happen. Pity about the DDOS though.

Who watches the watchmen? The shop is up a lot more now than it used to be, although it still goes down sometimes.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Bumping to get everyone's opinions on the game so far. I know the game is in alpha, but I feel like there's not enough to see and towns and dungeons are so far apart. Walking sucks!
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. No Opinion it is not very friendly with my on board graphics card despite it having a 1.6 gig. The Demo worked just fine but the game itself is causing some headaches. I can't switch it to Open GL because it is currently DX instead.
Who watches the watchmen?Well the site did say that the game would have trouble with on board graphics chips and it don't matter how many gigs it has if it can't perform.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.See that was the odd thing. I ran the demo and it worked just fine. However the game itself had some issues. But I am sure given enough time that will change. It is still in alpha.
I can play but it is a tad bit clunky. Giving options to tweak settings and the like with wider range of options in the future will likely solve those issues.

Who watches the watchmen?
This seems to be the next in a line of voxel based cube building games. No mining or digging is planned, but building is still in, and it seems to be going farther in the direction of Terraria as being more of a game than a creativity toy. Discuss!
Here's a link to the developers blog. http://wollay.blogspot.com/
