"Hello, yes, I, the great Dr. Ivo Robotnik, otherwise known as Dr. Eggman, am looking for a deal in... vehicle insurance."

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaire"Hello, this is Mr. Prower, I'd like to claim my insurance on water damages to my plane. Well yes, I know this is the third time this year already, but such is life. No, of course not, why would you think I would ever purposely hose down my plane just enough to claim insurance and then fix it back myself for practicly no cost? The thought is ludricous!"
Sonic hates SOPAAnd NO, I am NOT trying to buy one of those fancy 3D T Vs.
Now I wonder, would Sonic, Eggman and everyone pay in Rings or just whatever unit of money the company uses?
Though I guess the value of the rings is pretty much the value of gold. And those things are about as big as Sonic's head...
Sonic hates SOPAIs it bad that blatant mascot whoring, the likes of which I have not seen since the turn of the century, is making me this happy? It's like videogame mascots are becoming relevant again.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, Godfellas>Implying that certain mascots weren't still relevant in the first place.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadAt first, you'd think "why would they use Sonic for this? Kinds don't buy insurance!"
Then you realize they used Sonic 3 music to grab older fans attention.
As though if people are that easily swayed by their childhood icons. Hah!
... Oh fuck it, it probobly still works on a sizeable amount of folks.
Sonic hates SOPASonic's quest for insurance IN HD!
Now even shinier! O_O
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Sonic getting insurance just raises eyebrows, but the very idea of Eggman buying insurance makes me grin.
I can just imagine him trying to get his Eggmobile classified as an ATV, and the Egg Carrier classified as an RV.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. You can't deny he needs it...
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter! The company would have to be mad to take in Eggman as a customer.
That, or have some sort of scam in the contract.
Sonic hates SOPAIf Eggman were to get insurance, I'd imagine a brief playthrough of past game clips of his end-of-zone mechs getting trashed one after the other, running through his head for the audience to see.
I like this commercial. I even found it interesting how the way Flo and her friend looked was similar to the human designs for Sonic Unleashed.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefAm I the only one who thought the commercial was stupid?
No. But I thought it was kind of nice to see the hedgehog in a commercial again. I won't hesitate to say, what were they thinking!?
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Like I said, it's stealth advertising for Sonic Drift 3/Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing 2.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadHow so?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Well, Sonic isn't exactly the most obvious character to bring in for car insurance and he does nothing in that commercial to make the connection stronger. Especially considering that his main ability makes cars completely unnecessary for him. It's like eSurance just chose him randomly.
You'd think that they'd pick a videogame character that actually interacts with vehicles on a regular basis.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, GodfellasWell I finally saw this. On TNT. How odd, considering it's mostly for adult programs.
Well what kids need to buy insurance?
Also, if Sonic just goes from place to place like the dirty hippie he is, shouldn't he get medical insurance, which progressive doesn't provide? Sounds like he needs that duck.

“My body is ready. I’m gonna take your names, take your ass, and then we’ll be making games”. - Reggie Fils-Aime, CEO of Nintendo AmericaPerhaps he was getting insurance for his Extreme Gear.
Let's not talk about that.

Maybe Sonic went to pickup insurance for Eggman?
Or did it so to mock him with it.
"Hey Eggster, I thought you might need this or you might run out of funds for your plans for me to foil!"
"I'll show you who needs insurance you pesky little pincushion!" *yet another Humongous Mecha*
