Why all the panicking, though? Hybrid sharks, like dingoes, taipans, the Irukandji jellyfish and exploding eucalyptuses can be worrying, of course - but still great wonders of natures nonetheless, and unlikely to spread any sort of evil throughout the region, let alone the rest of the world.
