I guess what we'd need is another Page Action crowner, right? I mean, there isn't a specific "redefinition crowner," so I think that's the closest.
Yeah, just call it "New Definition For GERH".
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Despite discovering how to make a crowner, I still can't, since the former crowner is still in place there.
Add a "redefine" to the end and then make that crowner.
Fight smart, not fair.Crowner here, then. Any missing options?
For reference:
- Define as short-hand for important characters, 8 (yeas:10 nays:2) 5.00 : 1
- Define as short-hand for otherness, -2 (yeas:2 nays:4)
With all others currently -7.
- 11 (yeas:15 nays:4) 3.75 : 1, Redefine, important characters.
- 1 (yeas:5 nays:4) 1.25 : 1 Redefine, "otherness".
All others at -8 or below.
- 10 (yeas:15 nays:5) 3.00 : 1, Redefine, important characters
- -2 (yeas:4 nays:6), Redefine, "otherness".
All others -10 or below. Time to call, or what?

Calling crowner in favour of indicating important characters.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickOkay. I'll start writing a Sandbox. I feel like a few things need to be hammered out:
No live action examples except in the case of actresses hired specifically for this combination, or make-up/cosmetic/wig examples. No examples where people have Technicolor Hair (unless they a part of a group of people with regular hair colors, and they're the only green-eyed redhead). No background characters, no minor characters.
That sound good?
Sounds good.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickShould I write that criteria directly into the trope, or simply hide it at that top? Actually, maybe both?
Green Eyed Redhead—how's it look? Some examples I couldn't check to see if they weren't from a technicolor hair series or weren't major characters.

Uh, the Sailor Moon example seems incorrect. She has brown hair.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerShe only has brown hair in the anime. Manga version◊ is a red head.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickHmmm, well, Takeuchi is really inconsistent with colouring (Usagi's mother has been seen with at least three different hair colours), but I guess it counts.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerWell, I'll go ahead and clean up the related links, then. Is a rename in order? I think so, or we're guaranteed to see misuse. I'm also going to take out any Real Life examples, since they cannot be this trope.
ETA: Finished A-K. Anyone feel free to look over or continue. I'm done for today. Currently found in 291 articles.
Also, I have found it extremely amusing about how desperately people want real life actresses to be a Green-Eyed Redhead. Every single—every single—example of a real life person I've removed has not had green eyes, but blueish eyes or hazel eyes. Felicia Day, Karen Gillan, Marcia Cross, Adele, Christina Hendricks (who has blue eyes and isn't a natural redhead)...there's probably more. But people see red hair and light eyes and they jump to call them a Green-Eyed Redhead.

Re: the examples, if technicolor hair settings are automatically disqualified, then Wendy Garret from Gun X Sword is not an example. She's the female lead, and definitely important, but other female characters in the anime include a Rose Haired Girl and a woman with blue hair, so . . . not this trope as it's currently defined.
You don't need permission to take it from the sandbox. I certainly don't own it. Go ahead and take off whatever doesn't count, just leave an edit reason.
Finished A-P. Currently found in 275. So...rename? It needs one.
Important Green Eyed Redhead? Seems too straightforward. Kind of...boring.
I was thinking something along similar lines: Significant Green-Eyed Redhead, which might have the same problem of being boring.
I don't believe the trope or its explanation needs any change. Green eyes and red hair are a popular color combo in fiction, which unlike the cliche blonde hair and blue eyes combo (which doesn't have its own page), is very rare in real life, and people find that combo very appealing, which is probably why it's so popular.
All any character needs to qualify for this trope is to have red hair and green eyes. That's it.
End of story.
It's way too late for that argument.
Crown Description:
No one has come forward with any—I don't know how to make a crowner, or I would have already.
