Art Requests

This is a 3-way thread.

1. Speak of general requests that you've filled, how they went, if they helped, blah blah blah. Discussion, you know the drill.

2. Post if you're interested in filling in a request (please post a sample of art work)

3. Request. Please be nice and only do this if there is someone actually posting the ability to fill it in, since otherwise we'll just get a thread full of people wanting to get free art.

I never filled in requests, personally, I always felt like my art sucked too much, and still needed fine tuning.

While I don't actually have samples, I'm interested in filling requests.

To be fair, it's mostly for my benefit so I can practice without suffering lack of detachment as I do when drawing my own special little snowflakes.

What is it you want to work on, out of curiosity?

I guess I could fill in some requests. My Deviant Art profile is here for a sample of my art (although some of those pictures are kinda old). I can't do really complicated things, or machinery, or weapons very well, but people and animals are OK.

My deviantart The last request I made was the secret santa picture, which I think went well. I have others but are old.

People, fanart, monsters, furries, ponies, animals and general weirdness are welcome.

Keep it simple and PG though.

Contrary to my expectations, we have three artists willing to take requests and nobody who wants to make any.

Would people be mad if I asked for something out of the artists' comfort zone? It always facinates, the sight of people trying new things.

That depends on what you mean by 'out of their comfort zone'. Drawing porn and drawing someone in full plate armour are both out of my comfort zone, but the second I would be willing to try while the other I wouldn't.

I think I will break the ice and request something. I wrote an OC fairy for the fairy tale I wrote for a contest back then.

I was wondering If I could post her description as a request for anyone willing to take it.

"She was a white skinned woman as white as the moon , her hair, her lips and her eyes were as blue as the deep of the ocean itself. Despite being alive for countless of years, she looked no older than a seventeen year old girl. Her hair wasn't very long but it gave shape to her soft looking yet imposing beautiful round face. Her angelic wings like any fairy's wings were divine; like a butterfly and they were glowing in a soft blue light. She was without doubt one of the most beautiful beings in the universe."

I am sure this leaves room for many interpretations. I am being vague on purpose as I am much more curious to the way ou might portray her by your rules and syle. than on my own vision

This girl's head

The one with the piercings. I'd really like to see different interpretations of that hair style. Her bangs are dyed green, and the rest of the hair is short black, but I want to change it, and am looking for different...well, interpretations.

The funny thing os that in other places people beg for requests and here we beg for people to draw for

She's supposed to be asianish, and is around 16-19 in age.
