Sounds accurate.
I'd say yelling shyly is possible. For example, the character can be peeking out from behind something, or withdrawn and blushing, and have a yell that's not very loud or angry-sounding.
Well, that all explains it. Maybe Yuki's Tsundere in that fic, because it sure seems like it.
