Hey, it's a big galaxy. Quite frankly, I'd be more annoyed by a bull-headed insistence that only Obi-Wan and Yoda survived.
Oh God! Natural light!Legends had an estimate of 200 survivors at 19 BBY, immediately after Order 66. The Purge was in hunting these guys down, which is what took Vader twenty years.
There was a group of Jedi who concocted a plan immediately after Order 66 to lure Vader to Kessel where they came within an inch of actually killing him. Then there was Empatojayos Brand, Handicapped Badass extraordinaire, who survived long enough to see Palpatine come back to life, and literally drag his spirit into the afterlife with him.

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."I remember reading I think in Star Wars Insider that there were around 200 Jedi at the Temple at any time, while there were around 10,000 across the wider galaxy.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Brand was awesome.
And in Legends, there were some Jedi that survived because they had been off the grid for centuries-Ood Bnar, T'ra Saa, Ik'krit, K'kruhk...I would love to see some of them back.

Was your odds of survival greater if you had an apostrophe in your name?
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimAlways impresses me how much history the old EU has.
I chuckle when hearing or reading about this character I never heard of before & finding out that they head a comic or novel that starred them.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I like to think so.
Darth Vader is in that ill-fitting suit because Palpatine is a jackass and he's self-loathing, right? So imagine Episode V ended with him winning and Luke joining him in a father-son duo, overthrowing the Emperor and being an awesome evil family. Everything's going good for Vader. With over twenty years more advanced cybernetics and healing technology to replace the already out of date when built suit, while still wanting some similarities for the intimidation factor, what do you think the new Vader would look like?
Reminds me of the Darth Jason◊ storyline in FoxTrot.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I just had an idea of a character who was expelled from Luke's new Jedi academy for severe disobedience issues. The last straw incident also apparently costed her both of her forearms, but thankfully Luke was kind enough cover the cost of basic cybernetic prosthesis before telling her to get out.
She doesn't turn to the dark side, but she does go back to doing small scale smuggling on her home planet. Still harboring a resentment towards the new Jedi Order, she has slowly upgraded her prosthesis to be able to withstand the blade of a lightsaber, just in case.
In regards, to her melee fighting style, she prefers to beat the crap of things unarmed. This both due to prior experience before the academy and a disdain towards lightsaber combat which she associates with the Jedi.
P.S.: Was there ever such a character in the Legends EU? Either an expelled Jedi academy student or a bare-knuckled Force-user?
In the Rebels TV show, Kanan mentions that there were 10,000 Jedi during The Clone Wars. So honestly I'm fine with a few more of them being able to survive the Purge.
Once you make the Order that big, then the idea that ONLY Obi Wan and Yoda were able to survive/escape becomes far less plausible imo.
And even 10,000 Jedi is a remarkably small number when you consider the size of the Republic.
KOTOR 2 had the Handmaiden and Bao-Dur, if you trained them.
I do like the idea that a bunch of Jedi that survived the purge were able to retire peacefully in secret never to be found by Vader or the Inquisitors.
Which makes me sad that Ventress died cause I liked how she just disappeared never to be seen again in Legends.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Honestly Dark Disciple felt like a misfire overall imo. I didn't really like what they did with Quinlan Vos's character either.
I do think that it's easier to justify other Jedi surviving if they were just hiding out/laying low in remote locations (like Obi Wan and Yoda) than if they were actively trying to fight the Empire (like Kanan).
Gimme that Obi-Wan featuring Qui-Gon movie now!!!
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."I generally liked the justifications The Force Unleashed gave for its Jedi characters surviving Order 66. Rahm Kota survived because he distrusted Clones and used only a militia of regular men for his troops, Kazdan Paratus survived who built his own battalion of Droids because he lacked the social skills to lead Clones, Shaak Ti survived (I think) because at the time she was leading a battalion of Felucians in Felucia rather than Clones.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Does the 10000 Jedi number include Padawans and younglings or just full fledged Knights?
Shaak Ti is an interesting case as she has 2 separate death scenes (the deleted scene with Greivous does not count).

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?TFU gave her a more dignified death as she's fighting Starkiller and pities him for not knowing he's just a pawn in Palpatine's game before throwing herself to her death.
In the new canon Anakin just impales her during Order 66.

"All you Fascists bound to lose."What's this about her being killed by grievous?
Deleted scene in ROTS where Grevious... uh... gues you could say he Shanked Ti.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"There was a deleted scene in ROTS during the battle at the Malevolence which had Grievous impaling her as Obi-Wan and Anakin watch
Shaak Ti can't catch a break.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Shaak Ti is like the most killed Jedi.

This song needs more love.Didn't know anything about him. That guy's awesome!
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"
How many Jedi in general was there?
Did they ever give a number to how many the Order had?
I know its a lot since they could effectively lead an entire galaxy spanning war.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
