Number of articles

Wow. First post on forums. Anyway, I was looking to find the total number of (English, since most are started in English) articles on this site, but didn't have any luck searching the forums.

There are two tools that can help you :

• the Article Count By Pagetype : it gives a clear picture of the various types of pages (tropes, works, etc.), but the non-English pages are included (although they're a tiny minority).
• the Article Count By Namespace : there are LOTS of namespaces, but this should allow you to filter out non-English pages.
