That's weird because back in the day, Garriott accused EA of ruining Ultima in the first place. My how times have changed.
I personally think the franchise should just stay dead. In the current situation there's just no way it could be good.

Seeing as how that series is essentially his magnum opus, I can't blame him.
I also really, REALLY want to see a new proper Ultima game.
MMOs are nice and all, but... they just aren't like the classics.
Meh, Garriott hasn't made a good game in over a decade. I don't see this changing now, unless he did something radical like found his own game company and make a spiritual sequel to the good (i.e. pre-VIII) Ultima games.
