If you want to embed the images, you need to upload them here, but isn't it simpler to host them offsite and provide links, especially if it's a big gallery? We have a rule against multiple embeds per post anyway.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Also: How do you link images in this forum? I think I have done it previously but I totally forgot how to do it and I can't check back to my posts because I forgot how to check my own posts in this forum and I'm getting nuts %(
You cannot embed images that aren't hosted on TV Tropes. You can link to them like you would link to anything else, just don't post a naked URL.
http://image.url gives you "No hotlinked images, please."
[[http://image.url]] gives you [1]
[[http://image.url linky]] gives you linky

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I want to post I currently have on my desktop into a forum post. How do I do that?
You can use the wiki image uploader and then copy the link.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Has this changed recently? Because I can no longer find a separate "image uploader" tool, there's just a button on edit pages to upload an image for that page.
Doing so creates a link that you can copy and use elsewhere.

I'm thinking of using some images in a forum post. These images pertain to my personal projects and not to any published works. The ones I'm thinking of now are fairly small — less than 5 kb. Is this acceptable, or should I upload them on flickr or something?
