Sigh, why can't any political movement use pink and green plaid as their colors? Or hot pink and ice blue check? I would definitely support a party like that.

Red discriminates against the colorblind!

So it appears the new meme around the world is that Russian percents add up to 140. Is this some peculiarity of depicting the poll results?

Uh, what?
As far as I know, it comes from a picture from the news, where the results clearly add up to 140+%. Me doesn't know the details, as me doesn't watch TV.

[up][up][up][up] Pink is pretty much the color of choise for "Gay", so thats unlikely. How about purple? Or Orange? I like orange. Greens already used. Hmmmm. Aqua?
RIP Leonard Nimoy. We've lost a great man. LLAP.
Purple is the pride color, I thought.

I think rainbow is. But Pink is usually though of as gay or girly nowadays.

The biggest yet. I wonder how long it'll be before Putin calls out the stormtroopers.

There was the orange revolution.
I will always cherish the chance of a new beggining.

Which had the West backing it. I doubt Obama, and even moreso the EU has the stones for it. Libya is one thing, Russia another all together.

West backing it (or at least caught backing it) would make the chances of anything like that much less likely. Seriously, as far as I know (granted, that is not much), anti-Western sentiment is strong enough to delegitimate any opposition as "sellouts" and "puppets". Heh, if Obama wants to help protesters he should condemn them, loudlytongue. And I am only half-joking here.

[up] Yeah, unfortunately I don't think there's much that anyone else can do to help the protesters without hurting them, politically or indeed physically.
