Post about how happy you are and the good things going in your life.
Sonic Generations, my first self-christmas gift(the other being Mario Kart 7) arrived today, along with Rayman Origins, which I can't play until the big "X". My Lady Gaga concert Blu-Ray movie(Over two hours long with an amazing set list) is on its way, and next week my complete Harry Potter Years 1-7(8 pc) Blu Ray set will ship.
And finally, I'm getting back into writing. Inspiration has struck and I'm working on my book, my play, my screenplay, and I've written three more songs. Not only that, but I'm back to painting and drawing. I've realized that the reason I can't create art I'm happy with is because I'm an abstract artist. When I experiment and strive to create what I feel, I'm finally happy with my work.

So, I had a fitness test at the fire station as part of my return to duty process.
My weight has gone up over the period I was off, as I'd feared, though my attempts to fix this have apparently not been in vain as my VO 2 max (how the fire service measures 'fitness' with 44 being 'optimal') is now 59.
So...yay, me, I guess.

'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'I finally, after two years of unemployment, have a job. I'm so fucking happy.
/ Congratulations to both of you.
I haven't been unemployed that long but I can strongly relate. I'm glad you got out of unemployment smokey, it's horrible.
Keeping the employment train rolling, but I got back from an interview, feeling _quite_ fortunate and hopeful to get me a job at last. Being told the time I'd most likely work and my responsibilities, and the fact there's a vacancy is just... more chance for success!

ACCOUNT NO LONGER USED. *straps on jetpack*Finally got a job. It's as a Security Guard, I still need to go through the training but then I will be qualified to work as one, it would mean my Public Services diploma and First Aid stuff would finally come in handy.
Probably gonna be working, with paperwork and clerical stuff considered later in November.

I was feeling really scared and nervous about the elections and stuff.
Then i saw this.
Even if the worst does happen moments like these won't just go away. Hope endures. :)
The Protomen enhanced my life.Young Justice season 3 is announced. Young Justice Season 3 is announced The title of this video sums up my reaction
I finished a scene in a story I'm writing. Since so far I've been doing random snippets here and there whenever I get the time, actually having a full scene done from start to finish makes me feel like I've accomplished something.
The last thing you hear before an unstoppable juggernaut bisects you with a minigun. That's awesome! :)
The Protomen enhanced my life. Also, I can understand enough Japanese to hold conversations with friends, read (children's) manga, and hold a conversation about medication at the chemist.
Considering when I first started I had trouble remembering all of the most basic letters, this pleases me immensely.

The last thing you hear before an unstoppable juggernaut bisects you with a minigun.I have a heartwarming true story for you that just happened to me today!
I had to do a meeting room setup at work today as well as my usual duties. this wouldn't be so bad except that they recently replaced the wooden tables with metal ones, which were heavier and could bite into your hands. PLUS i had to put all 26 chairs away, which wouldn't be so bad except most of the stackers were nearly full and a third of the chairs had different arms that wouldn't stack.
So after about a half hour of pushing and just kinda shoving all the rows of chairs against each other like shopping carts i was just TIRED and felt like it was a thankless task. no one had ever thanked me before.
But as i was packing up to leave for the night i saw a tiny bag of chocolates and i asked a coworker what they were for and she said for me, for doing a good job with the meeting room! it made me really happy. ^^
I almost ran out without thanking her in return but backpedaled and did so XD
The Protomen enhanced my life.Aw, that was so nice of her! Was it good chocolate?
The last thing you hear before an unstoppable juggernaut bisects you with a minigun. It was Reese's mini-cups and a fun-size Snickers bar. I'm usually not one for Snickers but I was so touched I ate it without complaints and it was actually pretty good!
The Protomen enhanced my life.Nice! I like Snickers. Never had those other ones, though.
The last thing you hear before an unstoppable juggernaut bisects you with a minigun.Pretty sure Reese's cups are America-exclusive - I've had no luck finding them in Australia.
Hershey's is my favorite. :)
Princess Aurora is underrated, pass it on.Those are also not terribly popular down here, but they do exist - I had a Hershey's cookies and cream chocolate at one point.
I've never seen Hershey's as a brand anywhere around here. But I haven't looked very hard

A decent amount I guess. I do know what an eigenvector is.
