The last of my Business Law exams are done... With doing well on the multiple choice portion, I think it's safe to say this class is safely passed.

Something I forgot to mention about my birthday vacation. ^_^;; On the night of my birthday, Cinderella signed my copy of my fourth book. :)

I just saw a video produced by Sephora that shows various fashions and subcultures associated with them. It made me happy to see them represent such a wide variety of styles without mocking any of them or portraying them incorrectly.

...well, the last week was rough, to put it simply, and i made a few bad decisions (well, "decisions" isn't the right word, let's just say it was part of a compulsion; those of you on Skype know what i'm referring to), and it's been bad when it comes to stress, but i've been taking care of myself and while it still sucks to have to do that, it feels good to make sure i'm healing, mentally and physically, in the rebound.

now, all i have to do its make sure I keep up my current attitude.

I myself have recently avoided a calamity in my life, and even more recently have made peace with someone.

So yeah, life feels good right now.

Oh yeah, there's something I forgot to mention. A Funny Moment happened at the Magic Kingdom. My mom went on her first - and last - roller coaster ride. XD

I just realized how close me and my best friend are. I never really thought about it until just a couple days ago.

This morning while eating my breakfast, a little creature clumsily climbs up on to the seat next to me, looks at the bowl and, stroking me gently on the back of the head, asks 'Zat nice ceweal, Daddy?', to which I replied that, yes, it was, thanks, and the little creature replied 'Atz good. I luff my Daddy.' before giving me a very theatrical kiss on the cheek, clambering back down onto the floor and running off shouting that 'This is a baby pony!!!'...

That's adorable!◊

Me and my dad drove to the countryside to watch the lunar eclipse. There were a group of people and an astronomer there who was answering questions. It was completely clear and we could see the whole sky with no city light pollution to block it out. The moon itself was really cool and I got to see some shooting stars, including one that left the brightest, longest shooting star trail I've seen my life

My mental health is improving, slowly but surely. I'm a lot more confident about my abilities at work and my leadership on closing shift, I'm not as anxious, when I am anxious I can cope with it better, and my depression isn't so overpowering.

I've been on anxiety/depression meds for a few weeks now, and I can tell I've improved. The times I've woken up at night and gone back to sleep without getting anxious is a lot. I've also stopped getting terribly anxious about trivial things. I still get the thoughts, but hey, I can take it.

And ever since I got a shorter haircut and the weather is getting colder, I look like how I want. So, I've been fairly content with myself.

There's something I forgot to mention yesterday. ^_^;;

My sister did something very cool. Yesterday morning, my former friends were once again sending me harassing texts. I asked my mom and sister for advice on how to block phone numbers, and that's when my sister had a sublime thought. She asked me for their numbers, and thusly she sent them angry texts telling them to back off. I think it worked, and I'm very thankful for it. :) Even though I had to confess my own sins in the process.

Today I was hanging out with my best friend, his girlfriend (whom I'm also friends with), and the rest of her family.

Anyway, the day was winding down, and my best friend and his girlfriend watched TV in one room, while another friend of mine (who used to be another another one of my best friends, but became a very negative person, so we drifted apart) watched TV in another room.

Well, her POS girlfriend left, and she was left watching TV in the room alone. I happened to walk in to the room she was in after grabbing some pizza, and we spent a few hours laughing and watching mlp.

When I left, she got up and hugged me really tight. It felt nice finally bonding with her again after a long, long time.

It only took the entire summer to accomplish, but I finally have a job!

This evening, I was playing an online game session with a random. There wasn't much chatting other than waypointing optional objectives, but he proved remarkably patient when I wanted to go back halfway through the level to look for stuff we'd missed and in general he was pretty helpful.

When I left the session, he said "take care, bud".

That hit me way harder than it had any right to.

Maybe it's because I don't feel like I get that kind of sentiment much. Maybe it's because it was completely unconditional worry, expressed by someone who had no reason to say it. Whatever the case, I feel happier from that than I've felt in a long while.

There's something I forgot to mention earlier. ^_^;; I'm glad to be going back to school. :) It's actually a good feeling, and I'm curious to see where this medical coding degree will take me. I know I liked to say that I would never go back to Oakton again after I graduated, since it took me 10 years to do that, but then I realized that in the end, the things we regret the most are the chances we never took.

Sorry about the double post, but I had a good realization as my name day draws to a close. Even with that bad news about World Market, I feel happier now. I feel like I bled my bad side out of my system, and I'm feeling like my old self again. :) It helps that I'm no longer being bombarded with red flag and gay jokes every five minutes, or being lectured about how I'm a lazy and irresponsible git every five minutes, or hearing "With your luck?" every five minutes. -Sideshow Bob's annoyed shudder- Watching The Vision of Escaflowne has been good for me too. :) Not to sound cheesy and fanboy-ish or anything, but there's just something about watching that show that helps me to remember who I used to be.

It's wonderful to hear you have been doing well, fellows.

On a personal note, I am glad to have been enlightened by some of the tropers on just what defines art. The gush thread'll give ya a big ol' hint who.

Somehow, I passed my driving test. Just got to remember no GTA driving.

I delivered my Master's degree's report today. I'll defend it on the 1st of December and I'll conclude said Master's.

I felt like posting another update about my OCD and depression, but I think this topic is more appropriate than the Insecurities and Anxiety one. Things have been getting better.

My anxiety has been decreasing steadily, and though I still get intrusive thoughts on occasion, they are not nearly as severe as they were over the summer. My family has been an amazing support network, as well as old friends I got back in contact with.

I've actually been going out doing things lately, and I've been making a lot of friends. There's even a girl I've met, and I think I'm really starting to like her (as in "like" like). I started going to church again, and I feel like my faith life is coming back after feeling empty because of the depression. I've started writing again, and for the first time in almost two years I've been making progress on my story. Though this quarter has been a bit tough for academics, I did get into my major (finally!), and I'm proud of my accomplishments.

I know I still have a lot of work to do to get through my OCD, but I have hope that things are going to get better. Things feel pretty good right now.
