The Alien: Isolation character page is filled to the brim with Zero Context Examples. I would attempt it myself but hayfever is kicking my ass right now, so Septimus pointed me here.

Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch and its accompanying character page are a mess. I'm going to start commenting them out now, but probably well over half the main page is going to be gone, and only about 20% of the character page will be left. I'm unfortunately not familiar enough with the series to try fixing most of the examples myself.
Rocks fall, everyone miraculously survives.Madness Mantra is filled with examples that state nothing more than the mantra, the work, and the name of the character in question (and sometimes not even that much). Is there anything we can do to discourage this practice? By its very nature, the trope encourages people to just add the dialogue with nothing else, so I get the feeling it's only going to collect more examples like that if it's left alone.

Regarding Angel's Egg, the YMMV page is even worse. There's only 2 entries, which have absolutely no context. Does anyone know the work and fanbase enough to expand those entries, or should I just cutlist it?
I guess Angel's Egg/Tenshi no Tamago is a somewhat obscure work, so I may very well be the best bet as far as people who actually check this thread. I'll see what I can do tonight. Fortunately the film is only about an hour long if I recall correctly, so if I really need to, I can just rewatch it. Don't kill it yet! :o
About Madness Mantra: There is not much we can do but comment it out, leave only good, fully explained examples, and also put it on the watchlist and keep checking if people add good write-ups or add more to the commented out examples.
I agree that it needs attention.

Hawk The Slayer is quite a bad case of ZCE-itis. I've commented out the obvious ones, leaving about a third of the entries, and even then some of them are pretty meagre on context. Unfortunately I can't fix the page myself, not having seen the movie (yet), but I think it deserves better.
The Spymaster is more or less a list of examples that say "Alice has this job in [Work]."
So I just spent 90 minutes combing through Film.Monty Python And The Holy Grail. I expanded an ungodly number of ZCEs, but there are at least as many still remaining. Would be awesome if someone familiar with the film could take a stab at it.
Characters.John Dies At The End is also full of ZCE entries. I've suspended the creator because it wasn't the first time they disregarded ZCE rules despite a warning.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanRan across Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist via the random button. Glanced at the entry list, out of curiosity, and like half the entries have absolutely no context whatsoever.
I started to comment out the ZCE entries, but before I got much past the Anime folder I realized it was going to wind up with at least half the current page as disappearing.
Given the amount of ZCEs, I'm wondering if a scrubbing is all that's needed, or that the trope be taken through the repair shop forum.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpI think scrubbing is enough there.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanFucking character tropes. ZCE magnets, all of them. Good tropes, stupid people. There's no way to fix it other than just watching them like a hawk.

Against my better judgement, I took the time to go through UCP. There's a lot of stuff that's still questionable there, but if it mentioned something that made the character unsympathetic I left it alone on the "better safe than sorry" principle.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpCharacters.Roulette Rampage Reloaded is accumulating a fair few of these.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAction Duo has very little context on the whole page. Most of the examples don't say which is the action hero and which is the Action Survivor, let alone how they fit.
Barefoot Cartoon Animal is absolutely loaded with entries consisting of nothing but "X character goes barefoot", or the equally useless "the cast goes barefoot".
Is this something that should be taken to TRS, or is cleaning the ZCEs all that's needed?
I commented out the ZC Es on Action Duo. There was little left. I got rid of a lot of ZC Es on Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy, Sensitive Guy and Manly Man and Tomboy and Girly Girl. There's probably some that I missed though.
Can somebody deal with Texas Chainsaw 3D? I am squeamish enough that reading a long description of a horror movie is something I'd really rather not do, but the page needs some help.
Rocks fall, everyone miraculously survives.Someone mind giving Characters.Scooby Doo Direct To Video Film Series a once over?
EDIT: Never mind, I can take care of it.

I just went to town commenting out the ZC Es on The Eeyore, and most of the examples that didn't provide enough context (I may have missed a few, and the Baldur's Gate example I didn't know how to expand on it, because that's his entire personality as I recall, so I left it be).
If someone wants to go through and add context, feel free.
Edit: I specifically did the page itself, and not the subpages, which could also use a scrubbing methinks.

My troper wallLOL is more ZCEs than not.
"He's a detective that breaks all the rules. She's an officer consumed with revenge. Together, they're... fired. They're awful cops."
Angel's Egg is almost entirely ZCEs. Working on commenting them out now, but by the time I'm done, there are probably only going to be something like 10% of the list remaining.
