I know a bit about Booster Gold from wikipedia and Smallville, but never read him. What makes him cool?
I'm a skeptical squirrelAwesome!
Can anyone offer a % chance on how likely it is that something will actaully reach us from this?
Am I a good man or a bad man?Basically Booster is a Jerk with a Heart of Gold who comes from the future to make his fortune using the technology of that time. This attitude tends to make the more altruistic mainstream supers look down on him. Not sure why they picked him for a series unless it's because he isn't really big time enough for a movie.
Trump delenda estMaybe it will be based on the last Booster Gold Series, with him time traveling and viewing his old glory hound as old shame. *hopes*
"You can reply to this Message!"Yeah no, pretty sure they go with the glory hound, simply because it makes for a good character arc. And honestly, I think that'd make a great series. You get some comedy out of Boster's personality and his Fish Out Of Temporalwater status and some action with the superhero stuff.
I just find it jarring that were getting hint of this series yet the Wonderwoman was cancelled and we aren't getting any news on a possible Flash one.
Wait, you wanted that Wonder Woman show to air!?
https://www.fanfiction.net/u/548347/Not that one in particular, but the fact they at least tried was something. It may not have been the best that could have been done, but it would have been something. No matter what anyone tries to say, we all know its BS on Wonderwoman being a member of the trinity seeing how often she's shortchanged.
The Wonder Woman pilot was alright i thought, not the greatest thing ever but...yeah.
I'd be interested in a Booster Gold show. I liked that episode of Smallville they did with him and the Justice League Unlimited episode The Greatest Story Never Told. He's pretty damn funny.
Produced by Greg Berlanti. It's going to suck.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/Ooohh, Dawson's Creek. Never good to see that on someone's resume.

From the Hollywood Reporter:
The NBC Universal cable network has ordered a pilot script for the one-hour drama based on the DC Comics franchise.
The project, which hails from Greg Berlanti's Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Horizon Television, will count Berlanti (Brothers & Sisters, No Ordinary Family, Green Lantern) as an executive producer. Fringe's Andrew Kreisberg, who collaborated with Berlanti on ABC's Eli Stone, is on board to pen the script and executive produce. DC Comics will also receive an EP credit.
