Anime-tedIf it's the one that I saw earlier today, I didn't think it was that bad, but I just glanced at it. Those T-shirt ads that usually run on the left side are worse in terms of bordering-on-NSFW-ness IMO. EDIT: Okay, I just caught it again and I agree that it's toeing the line...you can just barely see the top of her butt. Still, I don't think that's quite as bad as the T-shirt ads, those are definitely shooting for fanservice.

Yeah. Toeing the line. Not quite NSFW, but definitely getting there. I think I saw that ad-with-noise from Local Promotions (dot) info again last night. I'm not 100% sure, but may be wise to at least keep an eye out for it.
Anime-tedPer Raven Wilder: When I go from page to page on this wiki, I keep getting a prompt asking me if I want to open or save a file called tokens.js from something called tap.rubiconproject.com. Since this sounds virusy, I just hit cancel everytime, but it is getting annoying. And to be clear, this only happens when I'm on this wiki, not at any other websites, so I figure something on the site has got to be causing this to happen. Any idea what it might be?

It's a rogue ad. It's not the site's coding. If you can figure out which ad it is (I think you may have), post it in the pinned thread at the top.I hate myself. AT&T. Been complaining about it since yesterday. Completely forgot to follow Fighteer's advice.

Ponders too much; thinks too little. Currently goes by Knowlessman.
I too can confirm that the AT&T ads are causing problems. If the admins have time, the thread Artemis linked to explains the problem in a good amount of depth.
The 11th GroverCurrently at work, so I can't post a pic of it until later (stupid rules about visiting photo sharing sites), but I'm getting ads for Jimmy Jane products (i.e. sex toys) while browsing. Is there any way to get those removed from the rotation? The last thing I need is for my boss to see those ads on my screen.
love lockdown, you lose.Came here to add that as well - I babysit and cannot have that content on my computer while children are around. I'm pretty sure it's picking up the amount of times we say 'porn' or variations of it in the Content Violation Discussions board. I saw one today but it's hasn't come up again so I can snag a screenshot of it.

The 11th GroverIt has the blue AdChoices arrow on it (again, I'll have the pic up when I get home). That said, the ads in question are appearing when I'm on the forum. I have a screen cap of me specifically looking at either Wiki Talk or Special Efforts with said ad on-screen.
love lockdown, you lose.Wiki Talk image: here◊ Firefox refused to give me a URL, but it clearly links to jimmyjane.com in the ad.

Is there a way to get ad UR Ls on Internet Explorer or Google Chrome? I'm trying to get the URL for the AT&T ads, but I can't figure it out.
Anime-ted*looks up jimmyjane.com out of curiosity* Huh...not as risque as I was expecting. [/off-topic] Can you not right-click on the ad and hit Copy Shortcut in IE?

Thanks. I was looking for something that had the word URL in it. Didn't realize that "copy shortcut" was what I was supposed to look for. Although, it only seems to work on ads that are still images. The At&T ad is flash unfortunately.
The 11th GroverLargo Quagmire already got the link. But in case you need to see where I've seen it on the site: Here◊ The one in that pic is specifically on the top banner, but it has appeared on the side banners as well. EDIT: It is true that it's not as risque as some other similar sites... but it's still showing sex toys in advertising, and I don't want to deal with questions about that at work. EDIT 2: Damn, something's acting up with the uploader... let me see if I can fix that. EDIT 3: Okay, that should be working.

Anime-tedI was finally able to get a screencap of the EpicX ad◊ with the...questionably SFW tagline. It's showing up on the side and in the banner ad slot.
Still having trouble with those AT&T ads. I haven't seen any for several weeks, but I just saw an AT&T ad and it had the same problem they've been causing for a while. I haven't been able to get the URL for the ads, I looked at the page source and couldn't tell which URL went to what.
I've started getting that AT&T ad problem too.
here, since it breaks the forum formatting.
