Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror

Okay, why haven't this caught popularity, again? I would understand the case of a film not being released outside of the country of the rising sun, but... we are on the Internet, the place where information travels across the globe in seconds... or, at least, it should. It should, in the case of this film.

I heard the plot isn't that good, but it is getting a dub...curiously, breakout Bang!Zoom VA Christine Marie Cabanos is the lead in this Funimation license.

Watched it at a con once. Thought the plot was...odd.

It wasn't a bad movie, but it just wasn't my thing I guess. I wasn't too fond of the CGI either—again, not that it was badly executed or anything.

This seems like something I'd be interested in. I really like the animation, even if most CGI doesn't exactly appeal to me. I just need to find somewhere to watch the film without having to download it.

Saw this being sold at Walmart today. There were only four copies left (DVD and Blu-Ray combo pack). Glad to see an anime is actually selling well outside the fanbase for once.

The regular DVD and the Blu-ray pack are on Amazon ^^

So how is it? :)

Wow, the combo pack is between the Avatars and Ghiblis in Amazon's best selling anime DV Ds list at #4. O_O

Just got the movie at Wal-Mart. there were only 3 copies left!
