I think it takes around a month at a time...

I myself am thinking about trying a New Vegas crossover, but can't really think of what city to make as New Vegas.

Nah, I think maybe Stalliongrad. That's pretty much the only fanon city that hasn't been visited by the protagonists in either the mainstream fic, Pink Eyes, or Project Horizon.

Now all I have to do is somehow message Kkat to ask her if I can start writing it.

Somber once said that the way to write a FO:E side fic is to create a sandbox to play in. Fallout's mostly set in America, but it would be interesting to explore the other nations, especially as both canons are vague on that point.

Yeah, another idea I had when the idea first came up was to set it in the zebra country. Since the Zebra military seems to be more "Roman Legion"-esque, the presence of a Caesar's Legion faction there would probably be more plausible. Plus in game canon there's the Divide separating the East Coast from the West Coast, but I don't think an ocean would be as good of an example for a barrier.

Anyone got any ideas, then?

Just think of how awesome that would be. They're all just chilling in their undersea kingdom when all of a sudden some huge explosion comes that irradiates the shit out of everything. All the undersea life mutates to become weird and Lovecraftian and they have to fight against all these terrors coming from the deep and protect what little remains of their society and try to piece together the mystery that destroyed their civilization.

You could always make up a new destination, like say Bovine territory "The Moojave Desert" "Moo Vegas" etc. Bovines would likely be allied with Equines so that would account for megaspelling but also the relative pristineness compared to the rest of the wasteland since it wouldn't be as priority a target.

Well to be honest I didn't see any story involving Stalliongrad on all the side stories. So far, this is what I've got.

• Unicorn Courier
• Caesar's Legion made of earth ponies, zebras, the odd buffalo.
• Caesar himself is a zebra
• Stalliongrad = New Vegas
• Disused SPP Tower = Hoover Dam
• At some point Pony Ulysses will enter the story.

Will you be using a variant of Cassidy as one of the companions. She's my favourite one. How about the New Cattlefoalnian Republic?

• Unicorn is best choice for protagonist. Courier's bag as Cutie Mark? If it's a female unicorn then Caesar's Legion would really hate her. Are Ceasar's Legion still sexist in favour of males?
• Caesar's legion as Earth Ponies and the like makes sense, how about mules?
• Will the Legate be a Buffalo? Makes sense with his extreme physical power.
• For some reason I feel like an SPP tower might be better for Helios 1.
• Never played Lonesome Road.

Huh. So Watcher is apparently a (very) minor character in Pink Eyes. Actually I kinda like that, having Spike observe the characters from the side-fics is an interesting concept.

Okay, in order of asking:

• I don't know what his cutie mark would be. It doesn't specifically have to be something courier related; I plan on naming him Straight Shot, but again I'm not sure of his cutie mark as of yet.
• I'm not sure of what you mean by mules, but no, I didn't plan on putting them in the Legion.
• I was kind of thinking of Caesar himself leading the attack, but then again he does need officers and such.
• Yeah, an SPP tower might be a better Helios 1, but I'm not sure of what to do for a Hoover Dam analogue otherwise.
• Ulysses is a figure in the Fallout mythology that believes in the Type 1 Eagleland, that America is noble and great and can recover and be a bastion of civilization.
• I'm thinking just plain-old New Equestria Republic for the NCR, based around some other city that can be near Stalliongrad.

I see many side fics for FE. Are those authors trying to form one vesre or not? I see 2 New Vegas fan fics .

I wonder if they make something inspired by Fallout Tactic.

But I really can't wait for AU fanfics reteling FE story with diffent player choices.

Dear Godness. Charper 37 was HUGE. It took forever to read this. But it was worth it. Last chapters are really great (love memory gambit).
