"Deimos Braxis. Pleased to meet you as well," he said, copying the bow Ganar made. It was strange bowing instead of shaking hands, a reminder that Deimos had been around humans for a while. He chuckled inwardly.

"I'm Dr. Marik Kring, it's a pleasure." Marik bowed, then sent a message to Kate. Hey Katie, found a possible source of help: a krogan mechanic named Ganar Arak. He claims he can get the Ozzy back up and running again.

"Doctor, huh?" Arak said. "I guess I got so worked up over the ship that I forgot to ask what sort of folk you are." He laughed, it was a relaxed laughter. "Not that I have any particular preference as far as folk is concerned."

As Joe came up to the port, he spotted one ship that looked as if it had been through a supernova. Well, unless they're a bunch of masochists, it looks like I found a buyer for my parts. Hopefully they've got credits. Giving me a lift would be good too.

Wow, a very personable and helpful krogan? What a pleasant surprise. Marik smiled. "That's good to hear, it's nice to know we share the same social policies."

Though our accepting policy has led to us hiring homicidal berserkers and insane, racist scientists in the past. Cap Jeko, rest his soul, was always a little too accepting towards the criminally insane.

Una found herself face to face with a dour-faced krogan, sitting on a chair that looked dangerously close to just calling it a day and collapsing under his weight. "Whaddya want, blues?" He grunted. "My Name is Una T'Davi, of the ship Ozymandias, you responsible for docking procedure?" The krogan grunted in reply, and Una got the impression she'd be here a while.

Arak smiled, it looked a mite odd, on the krogan, but at least it seemed genuine, if not a little wry. A little second passed before he seemingly snapped out of it. "Need to go get my tools." He said. "Looks like the omni won't be quite enough, it's like that some times." With that, he turned and trudged towards a lone shack in safe distance from the landing area.

Joe saw a Krogan walk out from the ship and in his general direction. "Hey buddy! That your ship? I got some parts, and it looks like you'll need 'em. Not the best, but they'll at least let you fly without zapping half the crew."

Arak stopped. "Things come to pass, huh." He shook his head, as if getting back to topic. "Ain't no lie that, son, they got banged up pretty good. Probably should talk to the turian over there, he seems to know what's what." He pointed towards Marik.

Joe yelled back to the surprisingly helpful Krogan. "Thanks bro!"

He then walked over to the aforementioned Turian and tried his sales pitch. Sticking out his hand, he said "Hi there, name's Giuseppe Wong, but my friends call me Joe. You can call me Joe. Your Krogan friend over there said you're in the market for parts."

Marik shook the enthusiastic man's hand.

"I'm Dr. Marik Kring, and this is Deimos Braxis. You've probably seen our ship; you can't miss it, it's got a pretty gaping hole in it." He nodded at the Ozzy. "Mr. Arak offered to help us get up in the air again, though I'm sure we could use your parts."

Another helpful stranger, though a bit more... energetic this time. And a human, too. On Tuchanka. I wonder what's behind that...

Whith his usual smirk reestablished Jake stepped out from the Ozzy. He had spent a lot of time inorder to confirm that his team were allright, with luckily they were, after all, it would have been most inconvinient for him to have lost one of them. He made his way to Marik

Joe released the doctor's hand and extended his own to the nearby Drell. "Hello to you too, you can call me Joe as well."

Deimos shook the human's hand. "Selling parts, eh? What brings you to Tuchanka?" Deimos asked. He was sure the man got that question a lot, seeing as how rare humans were on the barren rock.

Joe released the Drell's grip and placed his hand on the back of his neck, grinning sheepishly. "Well, it's a bit embarrassing, but I guess you could say I got into a business deal that went bad. I was onboard a ship passing through when a contact of a contact found out I was in port and offered me a short job to fix up their shuttle with some scrapped parts they had. Turns out that the genius was hoping to start up a... well... a sort of Peace Corps on Tuchanka, but took off with the shuttle when he found out no one wanted to donate. So here I am with a room full of parts."

Una emerged from the shack, her left eyebrow twitching in an uneven rythm, and her hands were balled up into tight fists. "Fucking Tuchanka." She said, mostly to herself as she made her way back to the group.

"Uh... okay?", Rach'an replied, barely letting up on the squinting to adopt a more 'This seems wierd but okay i'll roll with it' posture. "Uh... then who are you? Because if you know me, it's... probably better that i know your name beforeistarttomakethismoreawkwardthanitshouldbe.

"

As he said this, he extended his free hand slowly towards the drell, like he was trying to less than casually start introductions that were already halfway done before he even knew the person in front of him.

"Syven Arioc." The drell's smile widened for a moment as he extended his own hand. "Since you seem to know little about me, feel free to ask questions. I will answer as best as I can."

He could feel the ship shaking slightly as it descended through atmosphere, the shield keeping the jolts to a minimum.

"That's unfortunate," Deimos said, placing his hand on his chin in thought.

"Tell you what, we'll see what kind of parts Mr. Arak over there needs for his repairs, and we'll be happy to buy them off of you," he said to Joe.

As he looked up, he spotted a very seriously pissed-off looking Una headed in their direction.

"I take it you had no luck with... whoever you had to deal with?" Deimos said, stating the obvious, to Una.

"Excellent" Joe called back to Deimos and Marik as he ran off to catch the Krogan he had passed on the way in. As he approached, he called out "Hey man, your pals over there said your the one to see about parts..." As he got closer and did not have to run to get closer, he continued "...and I can help you install them too, since they're probably going to need quite a few whacks to fit in, you know what I mean? Anyway, my name's Giuseppe, but you can call me Joe - so what can I hook you up with, amigo?"

Arak nodded, he was on the return with a big bulky box. "Sorry for havin' you running back and forth. Well, I suppose it ain't as much of a problem for a strong young man such as yourself." He smiled wryly again. "Well, from what I can tell, it's mostly electronics, but we need to do something about that hole in the back there... I suppose this should do." He brought up his omnitool and transmitted a short list.

Joe gave the list a quick perusal, and remarked "Well, whattya know, I have most of the important stuff here. Some are secondhand and a bit banged up, and a few were designed for smaller ships, but it'll work out."

He curled his lips up into a slight grin as he spoke less enthusiastically than before "So... Pally, before I jump the gun -heh- who should I see about actually... well... selling these things?"

Arak frowned. "I'm as new to this as you are, I'm afraid." He cast a look at the group. "Can't say I know much about the chain of command on that boat. Should probably go ask, 's to excited at the prospects of working on a ship again..." His eyes lit up, as if suddenly remembering something. "Oh, pardon my manners, Ganar Arak's the name."

Una was making a visible effort to calm down, taking deep breaths, blinking more than neccesary. "Success is a relative term." She said, unballing her fists. "There's no objection, well, official objection to us keeping the ships here until they're repaired, but getting a mechanic's apparently going to be hard. You wouldn't even believe what you have to pay for some asshole who knows the business end of an omnitool from the... who's that?" She interrupted herself, nodding towards Arak and Joe.

Jake walked up next to Una "I have not been here for much longer than you, but from what I've understood the Krogan's a mechanic and wants to work on the ship. The other guy wants to sell us parts."

Marik nodded. "That's right. What are the odds of finding two friendly individuals with exactly what we need, especially in this kind of environment? We got off lucky for once, it seems."

To himself, he thought, I wonder if that human was telling us the truth about why he's here, though. I can't help but feel that we caught just too much of a break here...

"Huh..." Una said, lowering her shoulders somewhat. "Well, it is somewhat curious. I'm keeping a close eye on those two. Especially the krogan." Such a rush of good luck was rather rare, and although Una wasn't really sure she had ever heard of any krogan engineers worth a damn, she still couldn't help but feel things were going a bit too smooth.
