"It's just... ... God..." Alex muttered, staring at the bald spot on Damien's head, feeling absolutely helpless.

Liena snorted. "Hey Michael, maybe your corset is too tight!"

Vancer stared at her. "What...?"

"It's a joke!" Liena was eager to get approval.

Vancer smiled hesitantly. He glanced at Michael, almost apologetically.

"Maybe I'm just that blotted, but I think he just up and fucked off." Kali took a heavy swig, sighing contentedly. "Shame too. He was kinda cute."

"Eh, he'll be fine," Am said to them. "Whether or not he matters in this depends on whether or not he comes back. If he does, he's important, and if he doesn't, it's likely he's just here by total mistake." Quickly the ghost realized that this sounded a little rude, and added, "Um, I mean, like... To this... interuniversal... problem we're having at the moment, that... only I think is a big deal. Anyway, he was too... angry, I think. Stuff like that makes a ghost nervous, you know? One minute you're floating around, minding your own business, on top of the undead social chain... And the next minute, you're getting sucked into a canister, banished in subspace for the rest of your life. It's worse than... ascension, I guess."

Still, there's no harm in trying... Am thought to himself. "Hey, buff guy!" he yelled as loud as he could, being dead. Surprisingly his voice was almost normal. "Are you okay? Is there any psychic force in your subconsciousness making you think about coming back here? If there is, don't panic! Come over here, stand on one foot, cock your head to the side and jump up and down while hitting the upright side of it with your hand! It should come out of your ear!"

I do that sometimes when I get water in my ear...
