Yaodune

The third major continent of Domhain Sceal after the World Spine and Iropa. It is among the two major continent located in the west of the Broken Lands. It is located mostly in the northern hemisphere and is shaped like an upside down magnifying class, with a northward 'stalk' slightly tilted to the east coming out of a large circle surrounding an inland sea. It's starts a tenth of the way down south pass the equator and extends 1/2 up the northern hemisphere towards the pole. Because of its tilt, it doesn't extend as far as it could and if it stood straighter would extend 3/5ths of the way up. It makes up 10% of the world's total land mass and 3.33% of the world's total surface area.

Compare to Iropa, which is 15% of land mass and 5% of surface.

Ezom

The fourth major continent of Domhain Sceal, located very close to Yaodune, to the south west with a curve that looks like it would actually cup around the circle of Yaodune's souther portion. This looks mostly like a crescent moon except for a bulb at the end, the sub-continent of Myiga, that resembles the tufts of a lion's tail.

Ezom starts one fifth of the way up north of the equator, starting thing and curving west and then south, creating a 'stinger' at the other end of the crescent moon tail, until it moves passthe eqautor. It widens a great deal more but is a thin continent, extending 6/7s of the way down south toward the south pole while curving wide east. Then it curves back up, extending half way up what it did down. Then it ends in Myiga, which goes another quarter up the way up as it did down. This more then encircles half of the circular portion of Yaodune from so far away.

Ezom is still very thin, especially as a major continent, but its length makes it the approximate equal of Yaodune in total mass.

Lryndarn - Often known by outsiders as The woods where the killers run free. Is a nation which is covered in forests, plains, and hills which is filled to the brim with secrets and corpses.

The nation is run by a voted in mageocracy, you need not be a mage to be voted in to their republic but your chances are slim of advancement.

How it out that rather grim nickname is because murder, theft and various other crimes are legal... well almost legal. It is only a crime if it is willingly*

seen by a law enforcement officer or guard*

or the person killed is in government

, and most guards sleep at night not during the day so it makes it very easy to literally get away with murder. Though if you live in the capitol you are pretty much set as it has 24/7 watches but 90% of the population doesn't live in the capitol.

Knowing this you must be asking yourself how does this government, stay functioning, why hasn't it been over thrown or reformed. Two main reasons, the first is that food, warmth, clothes and even mundane magical items are all provided by the government. Nearly all taxes go into programs which pay mages to do these services. And two, due to lack laws the country is a haven for vigilantes and adventures who often have to take the law into their own hands.

The country is 200 years old and was previous a group of loosely associated villages and city states. The area has always been filled with the darker elements of the world even before the country was established. It's rumored that before the country was founded undead summoning mages, vampires, and lone werewolves ruled the land through fear and territorial warfare, some say they still do but have moved underground. The country was founded by five mages who traveled together hunting down the leaders of these groups, eventually they all took powerful positions and after little fighting managed to unite the land into a nation, though it is rumored that they were all serial killers themselves and were more in the adventuring business for the thrill of the kill than for any greater good.

The Ivory shadow- is a vigilante that showed up in Lryndarn a few years back. This figure wears a mask and a hooded hat, as well as shifting gray clothes. They have been seen through out the lands and are said to jump from roof top to tree top hunting night predators, they uses hooks and ropes which seem to be abnormally long, flexible and adaptive.

He is actively chased by the government due to the fact that he once assaulted a man in view of the guards, by hanging the man by his ankles from a roof and letting him drop via a rope.

This country would be good for darker and edgier campaigns as well horror, and even noir steam-punk campaigns. It's also a great location for vigilantes to come from or be in.

World Spine The New Lands, and couple different names to the Orcs

If the Broken Lands exist spread out over the western hemisphere, then the New Lands sits pretty by itself, right smack dab in the middle of the eastern hemisphere. It stretches entirely from pole to pole, a long thick stretch of land mass encircling half of the world. It resembles a line of large amorphous blobs smashed end to end, causing a vague wave pattern down either side of its coast.

Both of its pole ends, being that the world is a sphere, sit close to the nations of the Broken Lands. The problem is, those are the poles and those have conditions other than ice and cold that make it pretty damn inhospitable, although each is unique to the other.

The World Spine makes up 40% of the land mass in the world, covering 13.33% of the world's surface.

The Uncountable

There are a few 'minor' continents that are still large enough to deserve their own entry and description. These are not those. These are uncountable number of islands that dot everywhere, some mapped, many not. This entry would note that these islands all together account for 5% of the world's land mass.

I sure hope I didn't kill the character creation thread in its crib. Or maybe I should go ahead and make a character to start it off?

• Eleniis of Treasured Family and Family's Jewels: No, not because I'm opposed to the concept (some cultures DO have fetish deities) but rather because some were disturbing (others were funny though) and there seemed to be some overlap. I'd advise each deity be re-submitted independently.

Smite Evil Ethoturgy

Ethoturgy is a very extreme form of magic. The basis of it is to strike out with a very piece of your soul and tear at their spirit with your moral outrage. It requires as your soul touches them, knows them, then it reels and claws and strikes out at them in anger for what it knows as your ethics and morals clash with their own, causing spiritual damage. It doesn't work on soulless beings that do not understand good and evil anyway.

It is often used to augment attacks, like sword strikes or spells. Those drawing the power from a god often use the god's soul and the god's ethics but often to draw from a god's power, the two must align. There are other versions of the spell that still draw more from the self though.

This magic is more powerful in the hand of extremists and fanatics and those who feels strongly about their beliefs.
