Fanworks should be elsewhere: Nightmare Fuel.My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic

I think the fanworks section doesn't belong on the canon NF page, or on the HONF page. (I don't think this show needs a HONF page either, but eh...) Move to NightmareFuel.My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic Fanworks? Maybe we should have a whole index of MLPFIM fanworks, actually.

While we're at it, should we use this thread to discuss the image or should that go elsewhere?

Do we REALLY need a HONF page for this show? Especialy since said page is mostly filled with fan works. I don't really see the point of even having them there in the first place, since no other Nightmare Fuel pages, Accidental or intentional, have Fan Works in them as far as I know.

Exactly. Let's just get rid of the HONF page and move all the fanwork stuff to a different page or two. About the image, I think the laughing silhouettes is the best one, since all the other pictures were just weird faces.

Fanwork stuff definitely does not belong on the pages for the main series.

The fanworks can have their own pages with their own Nightmare Fuel subpages. They most definitely do not belong on the page for the actual show. Feel free to hack and burn the ones you see.

I chopped out the fanworks and moved them to My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic Non Canon subpages. Since I'm averse to fanfic, Wiki Magic can take care of it.

EDIT: Actually, should I just move and redirect FanficRecs.My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic to that page?

I feel partially responsible for all the fanon stuff that appeared on the crowning moments pages.

Way back, someone added a couple of PMVs to the Awesome page. I thought it would be dickish to remove someone else's addition and since Team Fortress 2 allows community created stuff on their Crowning pages, I though making folders for fanart and videos would be fine.

Clearly I underestimated the enthusiasm of bronies.

I guess since TF 2 is more community driven than a tv show, that makes sense. Bronies sure are zealous though. What should we do with the main page of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic Non Canon then?

Edit: By the way, is there a schedule for unlocking the main-main page? It was locked during the hiatus and locked a few episodes into season 2, so when is it being unlocked again?

TF2 shouldn't have non-canon stuff on its Moments pages either.

There's no schedule for it. The pages for individual episodes are unlocked, though.

It could be argued that FIM is very "community driven", but that's neither here nor there.

I think the Fanon Index might be fine the way it is, maybe reorganize the list of fanfics/abridged series/games/etc

While we have this thread open dealing with this page, do we really need to put the examples from "Lesson Zero" on their own page? I've looked at the page in question and in my opinion, it's not long enough to justify putting the Nightmare Fuel for that one episode on its own page. If it were ten times longer, sure, but at its current length, I say merge it back into this page. Any objections?

None from me. It just seems like an excuse for the more... immature parts of fandom to say "OMG IT'S NOT A GIRL SHOW, LOOK HOW EDGY IT IS LOOK LOOK LOOK!"

I'll give it three days. If nobody objects to merging back into this page by 00:00 on Wednesday (GMT+10), I'll do the merge.
