I am writing a novel and, as it is a NaNoWriMo
novel, I have nowhere near enough time to create a linguistics system from scratch. Thus, I have decided to use French as the language of the Precursors, and Italian in much the same role Latin played throughout the Middle Ages.
Unfortunately, I do not speak a word of French, and my Italian is terrible. If anyone could help me translate the dialogue I need, it would be much appreciated.
The first thing I need is "Absolve this man of his sins and accept him into your great city," in Italian.
