So I've gained several new favorite songs: What the Water Gave Me, Leave My Body, Rabbit Heart(Raise it Up), Howl, No Light No Light, Kiss With a Fist, Spectrum (Say My Name)(Calvin Harris Remix) and Blinding.

Funny enough, I'm listening to Ceremonials right now. "Seven Devils", to be exact. Florence makes good writing music.

And an alternative version of "Lover to Lover" *

has just been released with a music video.

Considering the fact there's not going to be an album this year, and the chances of being one next year is slim, this is a great treat.

What bothers me the most about all of this is that, despite all the exposure she's getting, radio seems to be dead set on making every other indie song except those by her successful.

Another green world.

Hey, at least she got to #10 in the US and #1 in the UK with Calvin Harris on "Sweet Nothing". Considering that's his highest charting song over in the US, there's hope for Florence to break out next album, especially if she ramp up her A-game and build on what she already has.

Speaking of Calvin Harris, I'm hoping that "I Need Your Love", featuring Ellie Goulding, garners some attention upon single release. She already rocked the radio waves with "Lights", but she needs to prove that she's not a One-Hit Wonder over here.

Hmm. But she's not getting more airplay for her other songs, and who knows when her next album will be?

Rumors abound!

For context, the official Facebook page for F+TM has photos of Florence and Co in Jamaica, with hints that they're recording. It could just be a vacation, but if they're really working on a few songs now...

Florence dabbling into reggae? I'll listen to that.

And F+TM has a new song upcoming for The Great Gatsby movie.

Skip to 1:39 for the snippet. Also music in the trailer: Beyoncé with André 3000, and Lana Del Rey.

Sorry for the triple post, but this list suggests that the Calvin Harris remix for "Spectrum" will be pushed for Top 40 radio next month. Let's hope this is correct, and let's hope this yields another US hit for F+TM.

I MOTHERFUCKIN' HOPE SO.

(Sorry, but FATM is direly needed on the radio right now. Good songs are hard to come by.)

Another green world.
