"Leaves door open" is different than stating outright that he's going to run. But I do have to wonder what his platform would look like. Did he even have one in 2008? I can't really remember, now. Anyway, I would strongly expect Hillary Clinton to throw her hat in as well. Double odds if she resigns from SecState in 2013 (if Obama wins, of course).
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Joe Biden did show up in the Democratic primary in 2008.
Vice Presidents running for presidency has been a common trend in modern age. In fact, Cheney was actually noted as an exception. It's not too strange if Biden runs.
Now using Trivialis handle. And Biden is kind of a badass, in his own way. Check him out ripping the Iraq war a new one:
bahahahahahahah good luck Joey
The guy's election persona is flatter than the Midwest.
Share it so that people can get into this conversation, 'cause we're not the only ones who think like this.Hmm, if he can win, then I'll support him.
Biden might be capable of making a recovery plan, we don't know very much yet.

Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.Decent politician, but kind of a dork. I don't think he's President material, honestly.
I am now known as Flyboy. Then why the hell is he vice-president? If he wasnt president "material", they wouldnt have choose him. All partys have learned that you can;t just kick people upstairs to vice-president to keep them out of power, because theres a chance they WILL become president.
I'm baaaaaaackBleh... for all the hate, everybody knows no one is stupid enough to actually try and assassinate Obama.
I dunno why they made him VP, though.
I am now known as Flyboy.USAF@I don't know I think maybe Iran would if they held on to the Idiot Ball.
I've always rather liked Biden. It's just that he'll be in his 70s by that time and the party should always be looking for young talent. No Clinton, no Biden, no one like that.
The fellow tropers who say Biden isn't Presidential material really need to evaluate what they understand about politics. Biden was an extremely talented Senator who usually came up with smart solutions to problems and was able to compromise. His only problem is that he just has a streak of laziness about him and he can't keep his trap shut (which makes him sort of endearing in a way). He had cited Neil Kinnock in his 1988 speech several times, but the one time he didn't the Dukakis people caught him.
Who am I? Why am I here? Why is he waiting so long?
EDIT: Crap, I am really off right now. I thought it was still 2008 for some reason and that 2016 was still like three election years away.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Good Lord. They're actually talking up—think about this; I swear this isn't hyperbole—the less intelligent of the 2008 VP candidates? Must stock up on popcorn.
"She was the kind of dame they write similes about." —Pterodactyl JonesMy respect for Mr. Biden increased greatly when his "I support gay marriage" gaffe forced Obama's hand.
Now if only we could get him to say he supports drug legalization.
"Can ye fathom the ocean, dark and deep, where the mighty waves and the grandeur sweep?"While I think he'd make a good President, I'd be against him running because his chances of winning would be slim.
I don't see him being a good President. I could see him being a good Secretary of Defense or State, however.
"Can ye fathom the ocean, dark and deep, where the mighty waves and the grandeur sweep?"I thought you said "I'd be running against him" for a second...

Joe Biden really seems to be having plans for the future.
