This is supposed to be a trope about rooms where evil things happen, like torture. Why do we have Teddy Bears in S&M outfits? Can we find something that looks less like the G-rated version of this trope?

That really doesn't work all that well.

This has been open for two months with almost no activity - can we close it up?

For the record, while it might be seriously weird, the image doesn't seem that bad to me personally.

Motion to pull

This one is skirting very close to NSFW...better to play it safe.

I agree with the motion to pull because it's just dumb. It will be hard to find a picture of a den of iniquity that is SFW.

[up][up] I really like that. Any objections to just switching them out and calling it good?

I thought the bear thing was funny.

I think it's hilarious that teddy bears are considered NSFW.

Replacement works. So does the current one, really.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.

I think the bears are funny as well, but the problem I see is that the trope can be looked at in two ways — is it what the OP says: a torture chamber or dungeon where nasty, illegal and painful things are done to unwilling participants, or is it simply a place where the bad guys (or at least the not-good-guys) hang out and do less-than-completely-genteel things, like gambling (crooked or not), drinking (to excess, usually), fighting (generally among themselves), and such?

Right now, the page description is tilted heavily toward the latter.

[up][up][up] Any other time/place, I'd probably get a good chuckle out of it, and I certainly wouldn't mind putting it on Image Links, but it's not sitting well as a page pic for me.

[up] Good point.

[up][up]Agreed. The suggestion is a better fit for the trope as written.

Oh, and I see absolutely nothing NSFW in the teddy bears. The mere presence of bondage gear does not make something NSFW.

Zero NSFWness. Hm there are tops of bear nipples there; maybe a little.

I think that blackcat's suggestion works.

Not sure about the NSFW thingy - likely it's just me, but I don't see the problem with nipples.

Alright, the clock's up and the painting's got enough of a consensus to move on this. The new pic is up, potholed to the Wikipedia page on the paintings, and tagged, and the old pic has been moved into the examples list. Locking up.
