Somehow I feel the fact that she can function in society despite her neurosis should be a trope, if not an existing one. A character seems to be incredibly flaky and unstable but is not shown to have serious problems with the system. I mean, she even gets to school on time.
Maybe her situation seems so familiar because it's just a more realistic portrayal of insecurity in Real Life than we usually get from Manga, but I dunno.
Is Kurokona a full doujinshi? If so, where can I read/download it?
About the manga - So is this a real life look at how otaku would be like in real life? Too bad its a girl, because I find it hard otaku girls would have absolutely no friends. Don't we all know that geeks and nerds love girls that have the hobby as they do, even just as casual friends? Plus girls are usually more well socially adjusted.
59 chapters and it only recently got noticed?
I'm surprised, after all this is the kinda of manga that otaku would take notice the most. I thought there would be a few Japanese speaking 4-chaners that would have pick up it earlier.
Gomen, the page had 59 lines, so I thought it had 59 chapters. So I was right, it immediately caught the attention of otakus. This kinda stuff is obvious otaku bait, though I think they overdid it with her social awkwardness.
She goes to school and handles official matters well enough, so as far as other people are concerned being an otaku and making 07th Expansion faces are private things that she should be left to. Kind of how most of us feel about personal affairs, right?
