...to O Fauxtuna. Considering that particular piece is usually considered the Trope Codifier, to the point of being the article quotation. Plus, you know, puns.

Is there any real reason for a rename? If not this thread only takes away a spot for a trope in need of repair

Against. Omnis latin chanting is far clearer than O Fauxtuna.

Not in that post, at least. We don't rename tropes - especially not ones with names as clear as this - because someone thinks a different name would be "wittier" (and for something like the hundredth time, puns do not automatically equal wittiness.)

"I've thought of a name that I think is cleverer" is not grounds for a rename.

No reasons to rename Ominous Latin Chanting has been offered in the OP.
