Yeah, sure he did.
I mean I didn't watch it, but even if you have a point, I'm pretty much done with Rumple, I'm tired of thinking he can be better, only for him to prove me wrong, again and again, and again.
One Strip! One Strip! It's not so much about him redeeming himself as him just being a bad ass with no remorse. When Rumple murders those who deserve it, it's hard not to feel a little catharsis. And Pan was a little shit who needed an asskicking.

"If I reach for the stars, you can't hold me back"Yeah, but now Rumpelstiltskin is the most evil character on the show. With that in mind, I never once routed for him when he killed Pan.
Well is still weird, not just with rumpe but with everyone, I didnt like how killian whitewash emma action as the dark one saying is for love when he was right that Emma is doing for her own needs and saying the issue is him not forgiving himself.
About Rumple.....my issue is that the show wants him as antagonist and the magical plot divace, if they want to reedemn him, take his magic away and see how he does, they just throw him back to season 1 rumple but without his secret motive.
Also Im still sore by how neither him or Milah never talk about what they feel about each other, they avoid that at all cost.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"They did take his magic away in the first half of this season, and he immediately schemed to get the power back when he had the chance.
After Emma became the Dark One because they decided to save him from his own pitch black heart that deserved to die.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.in the case of rumple wasnt because dark emma take him and decide to make him a hero by force? for me that was intersting
Also If I remenber well, Emma become a dark one to save killian from dying and did pretty nasty thing about it, which i was all brush aside because of course it will
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Well she was already the Dark One as the power was inside her. It's just that it didn't really influence her into making really really bad decisions until Killian died and she still acted better about it than Killian or Rumple ever did.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I didn't really root for Rumple taking Pan's heart. Though, I'm VERY confused because we saw him take Robin's heart and he just... gave it back right after with no issues? Why take it at all???
I kind of found it unneeded because why did we go through all of this either? Rumple's helps his father, who was rightfully defeated and killed 2 seasons ago, to betray him and... kill him again? Why? For what purpose? He's already in the underworld and has to deal or not deal with his unfinished business.
Killing Pan again, even if he is a pretty massive jackass, just seems like overkill and possibly even Disproportionate Retribution depending on how you look at it.
To fool the audience, I guess.
I do wonder if Hades actually planned against them or if it was one of those he didn't really care if the heroes escaped or not.
Also I had kinda forgotten about stealthy.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaPresumably because it helped him get up to the surface with Belle somehow I'm not sure how though. Wait not the surface wherever Belle's father is.

What? Did Stealthy show up?
Did the unsung hero of the Seven Dwarves return after bravely giving his life to save his friends?
Edit: Although if you forgot about Stealthy, I guess he's too good at his job.

One Strip! One Strip!Stealthy showed up as one of the souls Henry was explaining his unfinished business too. He apparently still resented Grumpy/Leroy a bit for his part in his death and that was his unfinished business, he told them to give a message to them when they got up.
And then, he escaped from Hades.
That Stealthy. He can get out of anything that doesn't involve arrows.
"Well she was already the Dark One as the power was inside her. It's just that it didn't really influence her into making really really bad decisions until Killian died and she still acted better about it than Killian or Rumple ever did."
so why we cant said being the dark one did the same thing to rumple? she wasnt brainwashed, she act on her own and Killian was right in said as much, them this season he go to said that nope, she is totally right....ughhhh
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"True, its intense for the audience to see Rumple steal Robin's heart... but I can't see that scene going over well with Robin later and it seems like there was no point to him taking it in the first place. Stupid Irrelevant scene is stupid and irrelevant.
I was also so confused as to why Killian stayed in the lower level too... Like, I get the symbolism of her 'rising' out of the Underworld without him... But there's literally nothing down there for him so why wouldn't he leave with her and THEN 'leave' her. On top of that, knowing that Hades is pulling his schemes, why wouldn't he go up with her to see if he can help them leave at all before choosing to stay???
I didn't like how they explained the whole 'jacket is her armor' thing. I almost wish she had just taken off her jacket at some point and left it behind and that was it; not this whole 'My Jacket is my armor' speech.
Well then.
I binged this show and after nearly two months, I finally finished powering through every episode, and watched Firebird tonight. I'm actually kind of glad at this turn of events, I was starting to get pretty tired of Hook somewhere in the middle of Season 4. But, given how this show seems to love un-killing everyone, I'm not going to breathe a sigh of relief yet.
Also, watching Emma buy her jacket was strangely satisfying.
I think Hook staying down below in the maze is geographically convenient so to speak. Futzing about below may well lead him to the bottom of the well his brother tossed Hades' pages down. Those pages are probably going to be super important for the team if they're going to figure out what Hades is up to and stop him.

"If I reach for the stars, you can't hold me back"Here we go.
So Hades can just kill a dude. No heart extraction required. Makes sense. Still kinda cool though.
Also, Arthur is dead. Yay.
Good to see Merida though.
So Hades(the place) is basically purgatory in this universe.
Olympian crystals eh? $10 says they're crystalized thunderbolts XD
So Hades and Arthur finally found those missing pages. And someone somewhere is writing Hook/Hades kink fic as we speak.

"If I reach for the stars, you can't hold me back"Anyone else think they should toss puppy skinner into the lake of souls and be done with it?
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaI like her. She's funny and hammy. But maybe she needs to be thrown in, yeah.
Oooh Robin. The laws of TV say a vow of love is akin to retiring and his time is limited.
Ha. I was right. It does look like the crystals were thunderbolts.
Dammit I was right about Robin too. Regina's getting a Cartwright Curse reputation
Well that was unexpected...so um...the finale's next week, right?
So wait...this is 3 ships sunk in two episodes?
Zeus looks like a frat bro at a toga party.
Godammit sad funeral for Robin.
Thank God Robin had a unisex name. I did think it was going to be Hope though, since it was constantly brought up this season.
HOOOOOOOK
Oooh. Rumple gone full bastard.

"If I reach for the stars, you can't hold me back"So nothing new concerning Rumple.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I find it hilarious how ABC has been promoting the fact that a character dies in tonight's episode.
2 minutes in, King Arthur bites it.
Yeah right ABC, not falling for it....
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.Damn it, I knew they weren't going to kill Hook, and yet I still somehow managed to be completely disappointed that he came back.
Ok. Rumple kinda redeemed himself by outright murdering Pan. Still not too happy with him. But this is a bit better.
