Pretty good week for formerly-benched QBs. Both Shaun Hill and Josh McCown won today (or rather, their defenses did, but that's neither here nor there).

In news that should surprise absolutely no one, at 0-10 the Raiders are officially the first team eliminated from the playoffs.

Is it safe to say that this is probably Trent Richardson's final year with the Colts? The reports said that he played last night but the stat sheet doesn't show it. He managed not to gain a single yard on seven carries.

meanwhile, the pats did the ol' power running flip a roo again to destroy the colts

Adrian Peterson has been suspended without pay for the remainder of the season.

Playoff situations for week 12:

• Jaguars are out with a loss
• Titans are out if... well, see for yourself.
• Jets also have a complicated elimination picture.

And the 2008 Lions remain in a class of their own

Sunday afternoon playoff update (ignoring ties):

• Jaguars are eliminated from playoff contention.
• Titans are eliminated if any of the following groups of teams win:
  • Chargers
  • Bills and Dolphins
  • Ravens and Broncos
  • Bills and Ravens
• Jets are eliminated with a loss.

Evening update: Titans are eliminated.

I made it to Levi's today. It is so much doper than Candlestick.

Also I am pretty sure the couple in front of me hated me as I was screaming at the top of my lungs for half the game and aggressively shushing for the other half.

Fun! Levi's (I still call it Santa Clara Stadium sometimes) looks like a pretty nice stadium. I've never to a game other than at Lambeau, though.

Jets are done. Interestingly, we've now had a quarter of the AFC formally eliminated before a single NFC team is.

...there are no words to describe the amount of burn ESPN heaps on the Jets in their analysis of the game. Seriously, they make them sound like a Peewee football team

RG 3 benched for Colt Mc Coy. Not on a device that allows me to easily link but i'm sure the site I read it from is fairly accurate.

In that case, wow. I knew he regressed quite a bit since 2012 but wow.

Week 13 playoff scenarios:

• Washington is out with a loss or a win from any of the following groups of teams:
  • Cowboys and Lions
  • Lions and Raiders
  • Cowboys, Eagles, and Raiders
• Giants are out with a loss or a win from any of the following groups of teams:
  • Lions
  • Eagles and Raiders
  • 49ers and Raiders
• Vikings are out a loss, Lions win, and either a Cowboys or Raiders win. (They might also need a Packers win, I'm not 100% sure.)

woops I'm here again for the 49er/Seahawk game

so everyone kept telling me to be patient with the seahawks fans trolling the internet, so i tried. but after this game, i can safely say that seahawks fans IRL are still the most classless, self-fellating winners in football. y'all won. no need to literally get in everyone's faces and start chants on public transit/hotels and running around going like "yeahhhhh hold mah dick i'm a twelve"

then try to joke with the quiet, older seahawks fans as an olive branch and talk about kids these days in reference to the obnoxious fans and they'd just be like "GIVE US THIS WE'RE STILL THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS"

ALSO the Seahawk special teams players were taunting the fans at the end zones after every kick off as soon as they were up 7. Like seriously? The fans have nothing to do with how the game plays out, why are you making their night worse?

I'm sorry, but if that's what you think, you really need to stat paying more attention to the fans of other teams. I'm not denying that there are obnoxious Seahawks fans. They exist, but so do obnoxious fans of every team. To name a few examples: The Saints have a substantial contingent of fans who actively cheer for opposing injuries. Your own Niners have fans who refuse to admit that anything that goes wrong could be the fault of the team, and blame the refs for every setback. There's a few particularly noisy ones who are convinced that there's a pro-Seahawks conspiracy in the league office that's responsible for everything that goes wrong for your team. Many Broncos fans are so entitled that it moves into delusional at times, and Eagles fans once booed Santa Claus.

If you want some sympathy, that's fine, but opening by saying that is not the best way to go about getting it. You honestly come across as though you're trying to say, "Yeah we lost, but at least we're better people than them." I know it's not intentional, and I know you're coping with a tough loss, but that's not the best way to portray yourself as sympathetic.

At least Niner fans just stab people so they don't have to deal with obnoxious people for that long.

• Panthers are out with a loss and a Falcons win.
• Rams are out with a loss and a win by any of the following groups of teams:
  • Lions
  • Cowboys and Seahawks
  • 49ers and Cowboys
• Bears are out with a loss and a win by the Seahawks, Lions, or 49ers.
• Vikings are out with a loss and a win by the Seahawks, Cowboys, or 49ers.
• Broncos clinch a playoff spot with a win and a win by all the following teams: Colts, Bengals, Jaguars, Dolphins, and Cardinals.
• Colts clinch the AFC South with a win and a Jaguars win.
