Good. I hope the entire biosphere dies, or at least the parts of it upon which humanity depends. I'm sick of all this doomsaying never amounting to anything. Y2K was a bust, there still hasn't been a second 9/11, Planet X was a bust, and 11/11/11 and 2012 will probably also fail.

I think it might also be that when you say "there is nothing we can do now" that people just go "you know what, FINE, fuck the planet".
Because it just gets kind of annoying to have to listen to every doomsayer whose trying to get more cash for their particular science division.
Also isn't there data suggesting that every tree over a couple of years old produces more carbon dioxide than it takes in?
