I want to see Todd do "Pass the Dutchie" by Musicial Youth. I'm sure it will be an interesting topic.
As a celebration for when Marijuana is legal in every state?
"Because I Got High" by Afroman would be a good candidate too.

Just a person. He/him.Reading this old article makes me think if there's any specific 80's Bob Dylan, 80's Neil Young, Early 90's Bruce Springsteen, 80's Beach Boys, 90's Prince, Post-Dio Black Sabbath, trio REM, or 80's Billy Joel albums that qualify as Trainwreckords.
Obviously Chris Gains, Chinses Democracy, Gary Cherone's Van Halen, and Post-Pinkerton Wezzer have Trainwreckords, but these are just ideas.
I wouldn't think any of Billy Joel's 80's albums qualify as Trainwreckords, seeing as how his career continued into the early 90's with hits and his departure from the pop limelight was more his choice than the result of any album.
Did Alanis Morisette start losing popularity with Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie? I remember the song and video for Thank You was Snark Bait back in the day, but I dont know if it did irreparable damage to her career (though she hasnt been in the limelight for a long time).
I think that album was well received by critics.
Bob Dylan did have Self Portrait, which every critic fell over themselves in the rush to bash it. But Dylan had a bit of a comeback after, and the album has since grown to critical reappraisal (for some, anyway).
Then there was his unfortunate flirtation with Fundamentalist Christianity with Slow Train Coming and Saved. His career never really rebounded from that.
Neil Young did have some odd ducks in his 80s discography, notably his vocoder album Trans. It came out later that Trans was an attempt to connect with his autistic son (the vocoder made it easier somehow).

Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!I have never heard My Favorite Game before, and I have heard Love Fool plenty.
Oh hey, swedish music exports.
I'm the opposite, I've heard most stuff but Lovefool. I kinda can't stand that song after hearing it. It just has this droning atmosphere that is hard to place.
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.Actually, I remember this song. It was played quite regularly on the radio at some point.
Optimism is a duty.I'd heard both, but never quite made the connection that it was the same band.

I've said it before, but I would love if he could do a spinoff of this called Two-hit Wonderland where he covers bands who only had two big hits. That way he could talk about Kansas, Scandal, The Presidents of the United States of America, Europe, Vanilla Ice, La Bouche, and others.
...I'm afraid to ask whether the Presidents of the United States of America is a really silly band name or if there were actually two hit pop songs made by Presidents.
It's a band name don't worry. I only know of them because they had a song in Rock Band 2.
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughMore evidence for Let It Be as a Trainwreckords candidate:
The Long and Winding Road has been called one of the worst songs ever to hit number 1 by at least one publication.
I have to say, the video isn't making me rush out to discover more Cardigans music. Everything outside the hit just seemed to go in one ear and out the other, including the cover songs.
You could add Golden Earring and Gary Wrightnote to that list.
There's also 70s soul group The Presidents, who really were one-hit wonders.
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!Did any other year spawn more one hit wonders than 1996? Besides the Cardigans you also had Joan Osbourne, Dishwalla, Nada Surf, Tracy Bonham, the Quad City D Js, Los Del Rio, No Mercy, and probably many more.
So, I've been looking for a fan mail address or something like that. Does Todd have one of those?
You lost!Is it true that there's a running gag about requesting All Star for One Hit Wonderland?
I guess nobody remembers Walkin' on the Sun anymore.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Their cover of "I'm a Believer" also peaked at #25 back in 2001, thanks to Shrek.

After Butthole Surfers, the next act I'd like to see Todd determine in straddling the line between OHW-dom and Hendrix clause is Talk Talk, given how niche post-rock is.
