Tad hard to read: Captain Obvious

This image is a great representation of the trope...if you can read the speech bubbles.

As it stands, it's rather difficult to read. There are a couple of good images in the Image Links; perhaps we could use one of those instead?

Does anybody know where the source is? If the original doesn't have the artefacts, then we can just upload a PNG version.

Heh...gotta say, I like this parody. For a straight example, there's this Looking For Group strip.

Please keep the current image; it's a perfect description and it never fails to make me laugh.

I prefer the current image to either the C&H or the LFG example.

I can read it fine, and my monitor is of a very high resolution.

And it's hilarious, it shouldn't be changed!

I'm also fairly certain that the current CO was the result of an image pickin. But perhaps we could increase it to a slightly larger size.

I like that one a little better than the current, for legibility if nothing else.

I don't know about the legal ramifications of posting however-minutely-altered artwork, but here's the current pic with larger lettering pasted in:

It's nothing that hasn't been done before, so I wouldn't worry about it.

As long as the text says the same thing, we really don't have anything against resizing it.

Should we just go ahead and swap that one in, or have a crowner?

Someone posted the revised version, so we may as well go with it, unless someone else objects.

I object solely on the #8 being lovely.

Heh...it's definitely good, but there's something about the CO in the current one completely ignoring the other guy except to do his thing that's a little funnier to me.
