Hello everyone, welcome to my first forum post, which just happens to be a fun little game for you all. I tried to do this formula on a site previously and it was fairly successful, so I'm trying it out here with a Horror-themed story. Those younger than 18 should take their leave, there will be some descriptive text.

I'd like to just get into the game now, but first some ground rules and a tutorial on how this while work.

RULES:

- If the protagonist dies, the story ends.

- There will be recorded stats and these may or may not affect the ending, whether the protagonist dies or not.

- I will not allow do-overs. I don't want no whining about 're-counts' or name-calling, which leads to my final rule...

- No abuse. Not to me, not to anyone, but this is common sense and a part of the actual forum rules anyway. Just thought I'd reiterate.

TUTORIAL:

The game will be done through Voting. I will set the scene and give a series of options. Each participant gets one choice per scene.

These are the player stats:

HP - Obviously, this is the protagonist's vitality. Stamina - This is a very important thing to watch, if it reaches 0, the protagonist will collapse and a turn will be skipped. If it happens amidst enemies, it will, in most circumstances, mean death.

[WEAPON] - The equipped weapon. Endurance - If this reaches 0, the weapon becomes useless and is instantly dropped.

There will also be a list of items below the health and weapon stats, be sure to eye these while considering your choice.

Now, we begin.

PROLOGUE

Day 01 - 23:55

"Ugh...my head...where...where am I...?" Your voice sounded distant, as if coming from another mouth. Vision blurry, you stood and looked around. A few lights flickered and, as your sight re-focused, you realised you were in some kind of laboratory.

You smacked your lips, tasting blood. But your mind wandered to other, potentially more important matters such as your current whereabouts.

The room had a steel, automatic door in the north-west corner with a green light flashing on the panel next to it, an open elevator shaft to the west and a series of computers and their displays to the south.

A - Wait, maybe someone will find you. You can't be alone...right?

B - Walk to the door, hope it will open.

C - Check the shaft. Maybe you can make a daring escape.

D - Examine the computers, they could tell you where you are and what this place is.

STATS:

HP: 100/100 Stamina: 100%

[No Weapon Equipped]

ITEMS:

None, not even clothes.
