ah yeah. those guys. Theyve done this every year fior a few years.
amusingly theyre why I got into reading the Destructoid Website due to the year where Jim Sterling decided that if his fanbase raised enough money, he would do extra life via a 24 hour marathon of Singstar.
They totally raised the money, and broadcast the livestream of the event. Hilarity ensued for everyone.

Essentially, as the site says, Extra Life is a 24 hour video game marathon, with all proceeds from sponsors being donated to one of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Not much else I can personally say about it.
