Final Fantasy X HD Remaster

-nods- that's how it goes. Besides, I never was too fond of being insta-killed by DA's Giga-Graviton. I think the Sisters have that as well .

So if there was ever a Final Fantasy X-0, centered on Braska, Auron and Jecht, which characters from X and X-2 would figure into the plot (either as guest playable, NPC, etc).

Off the top of my head, in some capacity, we'd see: Kinoc, Jyscal, Seymour, Cid, Yuna's mom, Chappu, Lulu, Wakka, Kimahri, Rin, Maechen, Zuke, Ginnem...

I'd love to see a playable guest Hypello character before Jecht attacked that Shoopuf.

I'd say, all of the Maesters (sans Seymour), the shoopuf, the old guy Maechen. Hmmmm.

There would need to be a scene where Jecht gets so drunk he envisions Tidus getting blown up by a Blitzbomb.

I think that we can all agree that Nojima needs to stay away from X from now on.

No really guys, what scenarios might play into an X-0? I figure it might be a Braska tutorial, a Jecht solo chapter, the three of them for the main adventure, and then a final survival Auron solo. But what story events may happen?

• At some point, they'd stop by Guadosalam, which would be host to Jyscal and pre-exile Seymour and mother.
• Because Anima hasn't been moved to Baaj yet, it wouldn't come into play, probably.
• We could see a Water Aeon.

Is Seymour's mother is there then Anima won't even exist yet. She's Anima's Fayth.

As for another thing, Auron implies he has seen Evrae before.

Tidus, Jecht, and Sin kind of are the water Aeon, just, with optional magic. The Fayth dreaming on Gagazet are their statue/temple/summoner/whatever; Tidus and Jecht (pre-sin, anyways) are simply allowed autonomy.

Yeah, I figure Sin's associated more with water, but I'd still kind of like to see some of the series' other sunmmons show up as Fayth. Especially because the lack of a water one given the game's element balancing was glaring.

I'm currently playing it, I enjoyed it before on the PS 2 years ago never beat it due to screwing up on the sphere grid (damn....Jecht) but now I have returned to it and I like the new HD paint some of the music is not all hyped up to be but most of it is better (battle theme, Yuna's theme, seymour's ambition) and only paid $15 for it Yeah!

People are elated about FFVII Remake, but I'm still happy with this game. At some point I should stop playing Blitzball so that I can grind and beat the Dark Aeons, or at least Dark Valefor, and get back to the story.

I'd play FFX-0 just for Maechen. As long as they got the proper voice back.

Jecht would be an awful listener though.

Maechen: Would you like to hear about Bevelle?

Jecht: I learned all I need to know while being locked up in a cage. Out of my way, you old fart. I'M THE BEST.

The base price is $29.99 in the US.

Also no dual audio.

A bit of a let down really.

Weird. It said 23.99 for me when the sale came out.

If you want japanese audio you can play it in japanese but are stuck with japanese subs IIRC. You won't get english subs without modding.

I'm torn. I'm at the stage where you have the airship and can go back to Bevelle if you so choose, at which point the Sin option opens up. I haven't yet gone to Bevelle. Do I:

• Go to Bevelle
• Continue doing as many sidequests as possible that wouldn't requite ridiculous grinding
• do all the sidequests, including Dark Valefor, and end up probably pretty far overlevelled

I'm soliciting suggestions.

Go to Bevelle no matter what, you have to to fully unlock some of the side quests in the world IIRC.

What's left to unlock? The new celestial weapon sidequests were unlocked, and the Dark Aeons are on the loose. I'm at the point that I was in the non-International version where the only things left to do were Bevelle > Sin, or the Omega Dungeon.

Honestly I rushed through sin in my most recent playthrough, Did Omega ruins /after/ beating the game.

Let me tell you though, the final boss is a real pickle even with a properly balanced party.

Note that you can fight sin then go do other things, the real point of no return is actually a bit later.

What I mean by asking about what can be unlocked is: "what sidequests do I not currently have access to at this point in the game?"

I've already beaten the original version of the game, and know where the point of no return is. I'm just wondering when I should get back to the canon story and stop doing sidequests. Probably after I've done everything currently available but the Lightning Dodger and Omega Dungeon. After that, the only things left will be Omega Dungeon and the Dark Aeons, and (fucking) Lightning Dodger.

The only thing I can think of is that you need access to Sin's insides for capturing monsters.
