Danielle, is a child (8 y.o.) with the power of enhanced vision I talk about her power in here
Well, let make a summary of what Danielle have went through already.
At age of 2 her parents died, he only relatives are a underaged counsin and two elderly grandparents, she goes to live with a couple that are friends of her parents (who they assigned as their legal guaridans)
2-4 Danielle power start to develop, and she is very talkative about them, causing others to think she is weird. During circustances that I haven't elaborated yet, Danielle ends up causing the couple to separate, after unknowligly revealing the wives's infidelity *
I was thinking she notice a strand of hair belonging to another person, and the husband was already suspicous
. Danielle is sent to foster care.
4-6 Danielle lives in Foster care and orphanages. Her "weirdness" grows
at age of 6: Danielle's cousin (Kyra) manages to become her legal guaridan, their grandparents died at some point of old age.
6-8 the cousins live peacefully and happily.
at age of 8: a vampires bites Kyra *
events more complicated than that, but moving on...
and Kyra starting to become a vampire
events already "happening" in my story proper:
Due to her power Kyra can easily identify non-humans and is afraid of them, Tomas, my protagonist is a human living among the supernatural world *
will become a vampire when he turns 18 in six months
, Danielle becomes attached to him, purely on the grounds that he is human, so Tomas accepts to look after her for a time. Tomas notes that Danielle is sort of cold-neutral but is doing remarkable well.
and things get incrisingly more problematic.
Kyra is turning into a vampire and under magical anesthesia. Danielle visits her and they talk through telepathy, a confusion arises and the anesthesia field fails, Kyra screams with pure agony for a few seconds.
Tomas asks for someone to bring food for him and Dani, the person brings the food, but is acompanied by a half-vampire child that tries to be friends with Dani... while the girl is scared of the half-vampire.
Because Dani is less afraid of werewolves, they decide to keep her in their village away from vampires... of course there is trouble from that. A woman called Sydney Singer that is a sister-in-law of werewolves and not a fan of the supernatural world decides to try take Dani away from there, far from the best plan, it causes an werewolf-woman to shift and try to stop Sydney scaring Danielle even further.
I was thinking that Danielle will eventually try to run away in the middle of the night (she can see in the dark), but I was wondering in the effects of so much happening to a young child. Does anyone has insight about it?
