Got a few, but here's my big one:

Out of this World: It's about two 13-year old friends, the idealistic Anne and the nervous Mark, who get stranded on an alien city planet full of aliens and robots simply called Planet Zed. They get adopted by an alien couple consisting of Gaitha, a cleanly and uptight teacher with pink skin and an aardvark-like face, and her husband Zemir, an overweight and easygoing mechanic with four arms, brown skin, and a crude refinement; as well as their house servant, Calculus, a short and boxy robot with lots of gadgets a sarcastic demeanor, and a deep loyalty to his friends. Anne and Mark have many adventures on their new home and are often antagonized by President Boltho, the planet's corrupt, megalomaniac dictator resembling a typical little green man; as well as Boltho's assistant Modem, a spindly robot with one eye, one wheeled leg, and a bitter, pessimistic attitude.

It's meant to be a lighthearted comedy, but I also envision it being able to do a number of heartwarming moments and have a Wham Episode-like Grand Finale. Visually, it would look like a cartoon animated by the folks behind the first seasons of Star vs the Forces of Evil, Wander Over Yonder, and Jimmy Two-Shoes (can't remember their names!). It would be a family-friendly show too. Basically, something akin to Futurama for kids. I'm not terribly interested in my ideas becoming an actual show (though I would be very honoured if it did) since I'm going into different careers and I'm not the best artist, but they are just fun to make up.

Why not

So my Idea really has no name for it but my concept would be a regular working class dude who has to live with a washed up Marylin Manson esque rock star. An I am the Band type of the dude who got kicked out of the band that bears his name. When he got kicked out he turned to his only the regular dude who once let him crash on his couch when he found him drunk in an alley way. Kinda premise that I think would make a solid webcomic more than a tv show though.

I had this idea for a Bojack Horseman type show in an Urban Fantasy setting. The Big Bad Wolf finishes his sentence in prison, and attempts to reenter society. Cinderella is his parole officer. The Wolf is Reformed, but Rejected, and has trouble finding a job.

Snow White and the seven dwarves is a really crappy sitcom, The Woodsman is a Inspector Javert who believes that The Wolf has not really changed, and The Three Bears are Jehovah's Witnesses.

Nice.

Here's my idea.

In a post-apocalyptic world, where man has vanished, a penguin civilization forms on the coasts of Antarctica. They live a life of fishermen tribes, fighting for the biggest fish concentrations, until one young penguin hears a prophecy of an apocalypse that can only be stopped by a finding a monolith at the North Pole. Intent on saving everyone, the young penguin travels north and finds himself in the unfamiliar coasts of what was South America. There, he meets a dog that assists him in his quest.

Another remake idea that i've never committed to writing before (although my last post in this thread was over 3 years ago, how time flies): Captain Planet.

The original gets a lot of flack for being Anvilicious and not very representative, the remake would work very similarly but try to take a more down to earth view of things in light of Science Marches On (less of an anti-nuclear message for one, or the tone of the anti-nuclear message would shift to being about strong regulations to avoid another TEPCO disaster).

The heroes and their elements:
Earth: Jorge, Bolivian geologist from La Paz (male)
Fire: Mikhail, Russian Fireman from Volgograd (male)
Wind: Zhou, Chinese bush pilot from Xi'an (male)
Water: Claire, American rancher from near Butte, Montana (female)
Heart: Suad, Somali apprentice medic from Berbera (Somaliland, female)

The villains and what evils they represent:
Alesmo (play on the Portuguese for "the slug"), mutant semi-human slum lord/crime boss from Sao Paulo, represents urban blight and crime, male.
Mr. de Vin (from Pot de Vin, French colloquial for bribery), corrupt energy sector regulator from Marseilles, France, represents corruption especially in the nuclear sector, male.
Dr. Nuqasaan (Hindi for "Blight,") Indian female (from Ahmadabad) Mad Scientist who doesn't care about the environmental consequences of her advancements or experiments.
Lutecia N. Plunder (should be obvious) American female petrochemical executive from Philadelphia on the bad side of big business.
Son Ki (two different Hausa words for hatred), a terrorist of unidentified alignment (implied but unstated Boko Haram affiliation) from Kano, Nigeria, represents general conflict and hatred.

It would basically be the same as before except more emphasis on trying to create a balanced view: fewer episodes set in America and it would try to show the lighter side of things too, like good scientists, good corporations, good bureaucrats and city officials who work against the villains, but also more one-off villains so that not everything is tied to one of the bad five.

Maybe i could convince Ted Turner to fund it on his deathbed tongue

Continuing the trend of show reboots: Freakazoid.

Since the original show has been praised as being ahead of the time by predicting internet culture nowadays, why not utilize the Internet as part of the story of the characters ala a parody to that one CW show I enjoy (The Flash).

So basically instead of just having that bug in the computer company's programming give Dexter's his powers it also give anybody using the computer of the same brand within the city radius powers as well (parodying the Particle Explosion). So all the villains who gained their powers is derived from the things they do on the Internet and will be a parody of such.

  • The Lobe: He will most likely be a Wiki editor who gained his super genius from years of using the site
  • Caveguy: Seeing how personality wise he is a cultured elitist who subscribe to the New Yorker, it makes sense on the Internet he would be a contranian who spends most of the time make long paragraph arguements. So why he turn into a caveman? A Take That! to people who seeks to instigate Flame Wars and proclaim social maturity over everyone else.
  • Cobra Queen: I want to say she is a Scally whose transformation is based on her persona online. . . . Yeah, something tells me this Freakazoid show is going to be a bit more mature than the original in terms of content rather than references. Especially seeing how I intend her as a representative to Furries and to some extent Rule 34. Though it will give a good parody to the movie Species.
  • Longhorn: He's a Murican. Yep. That's why he is overly muscular country sounding bull. He epitomizes the ironic Murica memes in an unironic fashion.
  • Candle Jack: He is some Creepypasta writer who made many stories including the infamous Candle Jack story (which is a heavily criticized pasta with many flaws in the logic of the character). Guess who he becomes after the Computer Bug Implosion?
  • Waylon Jeepers: He will be the only Freakazoid villain not affected by the Bug as all the other villains. He has always been some creep lurking around the Internet.

That is all I got so far.

Squad ultra: a trio of kids gain superpowers after being exposed to nanomachines inside a strange object. Now they must figure out what this thing is while fending anyone who wants their hands on it.

Squirrel bros: two squirrels and their misadventures in suburbia.

Ellenoa: the adventures of a wild forest girl and her adventures in the forest of darkona.

characters:

  • Ellenoa: the titular character. She always let's her heart show her the way. She loves adventure and all things fun, dragging her friends to all sorts of mischief.
  • pine: a faun who's friends with her. He doesn't mind being dragged into all of Ellenoa 's misadventures but he knows when to stop. He's usually the one he provides the stuff she needs.

For original concepts, I have two shows that are styled after Jay Ward cartoons, with a limited style and a fast-paced, subversive edge. They are Wendy the Wondificent (a spoof on teen superheroes) and Max Mallard (about an anthropomorphic duck and his human girl friend)''.

Another original idea I have is more nuanced: Teeny Bopper and Donna Prima, about a carefree girl who manages to befriend a fabulously wealthy girl. The series would explore and develop their friendship. I'd say it's very timely, with its overall message on finding ways to be friends despite as if being from different worlds.

As for reboots, I think I could improve on Mike, Lu & Og. I mean, there's new technology for the islanders to discover, I could improve the characters' personalities and development, and even add some better humor.

I've been snowballing a slew of characters that I sometimes try to work into a tangible story. The only tangible one I've come up with so far has four mailpeople that do deliver mail and do similar odd jobs, with a cast that depending on the story can be customers, friends, or collectively comprise of a Rogues Gallery. If a genre could be picked I think it would definitely be more of a comedy, though I also do like to envision action scenes being a high threshold of the series (with the action being akin to fights in Super Smash Bros and sprite animations). That said, it skirts the line of something I'd like to do as a animated series or something I'd like to do as a videogame.

has a clue, but it's usually not the correct one 0.55% of the time

Whelp peps, I got a new idea for you folks.

During a meteor shower, Nackie brown looks up from his comic book just in time to see bright flash of light crashing down into the earth. The teenager gets out of the car despite the pleas from his friends not to do it. Upon approaching the crash site, he felt strange but went ahead touched it. The exposure caused something in his genetic code to drastically change. As a result, eveytime a monster is near or danger is at foot, he uncontrollably morphs into a 50 ft tall hulking giant. With such a power, nackie decides to use it to become...captain victory!! Defender of humanity.

Simply, a streamlined Ultimate Universe of previous Felix series that follows an dramedic arc-based episodic format with the franchise's trademark surrealism.

I have another idea. (doubt anyone would comment)

DJ mix mastas

so basically, there's this DJ who goes by the name of DJ kitty. she uses to be part of a band called The Steppers until she was deemed not good enough anymore. to prove them wrong, she challenges them to a Band off (a duel of sorts). she gets her butt handed to her. realizing she needs a band of her own, she sets off to recruit other members to her group over the course of the show. like anime, it goes through arcs but they're shorter than average. And did I forget to mention that their music can cause damage via superpowers? any performing arts in general can do that too, like dance and art.

Not really a series, but instead more of an hour or so long Halloween special. It's an Affectionate Parody of the James Bond franchise, set in an Urban Fantasy setting with a Lovecraft Lite plot.

The protagonists are a bunch if expies of Bond characters, who all act a little more wacky. The main guy is a Friendly Neighborhood Vampire, who's a secret agent and fights cultists and such. His boss is Van Helsing, Helsing's secretary is a Cute Monster Girl Werewolf with an affinity for cheesecake, and all the gadgets are supplied by a mad scientist. Kinda similar to Billy And Mandy in tone.

1. A show about heroes based on the western star signs

2. A show about a brilliant scientist and his young female intern being trapped on a mysterious island, where they learn about an ancient yet surprisingly advanced civilization that is now long gone. They try to learn more about this discovery, but, while they do, they are constantly forced to deal with the strange flora and fauna that are found all over the island, as well as strange and mysterious paramilitary organization that is not only found on the isle but are also after answers too.

3. A diverse yet close knit flock of birds, mutated by a kindly scientist, set out to find their place in the world, all while dealing with an evil mutated raccoon, as well as a pack of ferocious mutated feral cats out to eat them.

What do you think?

Also, if one was to make show based on the Balto movies, what would be the options to do it?
