New Syndicate game, No just plain bitching.:

A lot of the reviews I've read indicate that it's an incredibly boring pipeshooter and the dart6 chip aspect isn't that good, and sometimes doesn't even help (e.g. enemies often only spawn in a room once you enter it which means that the ability to see through walls is often useless).

Keeping in mind that it's basically Deus Ex meets Modern Warfare, I enjoyed the multiplayer demo. I didn't expect much - just a nice little strategic shooter. I wasn't disappointed... except for when I got teamed with terrible teammates that seemed to have no microphones.

I am become death, Destroyer of worlds
It sold worse than Asura's Wrath did in the US (By 2000 units at only 34, 000) in all of the opening month, if that's any indication.

Hmm, it seems to have gotten okay reviews. Anyone here has personal experience?

I'm kinda wary about it, to be honest. Don't know if I should purchase it.

So I hear the new game comes with something called the Infobank, which basically functions the same as Mass Effect's codex. Does anyone know where I can read the stuff written in the Infobank online? The game may not be great but it is the first time in 16 years there has been world building done in the Syndicate universe.

[up]Why bother? I doubt the game's even gonna get a sequel, given how poorly it was received.
Would you believe I never fully watched the original Indiana Jones trilogy? I gotta correct that someday.

I just got this game on PC for $4 at the Green Man Gaming site. The one review on the work page here said that it's a surprisingly good shooter. I also distinctly remember Giant Bomb giving the game 5 out of 5 stars when it first came out, which was a bit of an anomaly in the sea of mostly mediocre to good scores.
I need HoH SiS
The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
