The proposed image is worse. It looks a red light is shining on his face and his eyes just so happen to be highlighted in it. The current image is clearer.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -Wanderlustwarrior

The only problem I see is that the current image might overlap with Glowing Eyes of Doom. Even so, I think it works just fine. I also support keeping it.

When I first looked at this article, I actually ended up thinking that it is only applicable to entire eyeballs that are glowing red. It's potentially confusing and doesn't show the trope.
Maybe we can at least just go with Light from Death Note
